*Required Experience*

Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Information Systems/Science

*More than 5+ years experience in a similar role*

*Expert level knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, XML, Web Services*

*Expert level knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project*

*Expert level knowledge of .NET technologies (ASP.NET http://ASP.NET, C#
and VB.NET http://VB.NET).*

Demonstrated strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills



*Specific duties:*

*Lead the process of defining business requirements/EDS*

Lead the process of formulating and defining systems scope and objectives
based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems
and industry requirements.

Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the
current and future business environment

Evaluate systems solutions.

Provide Formal requirements Communication Plans.

Conduct requirements presentation reviews, and obtain requirements
approvals.

Business Systems analysis methodology and/or best practices.

Statistical Analysis/benchmarking, risk score forecasting

*Perform specific duties of the Senior BSA as required.*

*Knowledge of IBC Claims process and 837 data elements is a plus*



*Additional Preferred Experience*

Knowledge of commercial and CMS Risk Adjustment Encounter Data system is a
plus.

*Title : Business System Analyst
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6+ months contract*

Job Details:
This group is very fast paced and their tends to be some turn over due to
contractors not being able to perform up to the standards of the group
(issues often are lack of dedication (people calling out sick); not being
really “into the job”, etc.
*Data Warehouse* experience required (but more from an analysis
perspective): Data profiling; source to target mapping; assistance with
data model creation; transformation rule specification
Analytical skills including ability to query RDBMS with SQL (tables, joins,
etc) or other tools
Ability to write detailed functional specifications, including data
specifications
Ability to work with users and document business requirements using various
techniques and tools
Knowledge of healthcare data and terminology (preferred)

**Manager does not like resumes that are too long**
**Any experience with Agile and/or waterfall methodologies would be good**
**candidates need to understand what they did at last project and should
list accomplishments—not a list of why they did the various tasks they did**
