Hi, I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah. [EMAIL PROTECTED] said: A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org This mail was sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mauro Colorio [EMAIL PROTECTED] described the package as follows: License: gpl Other License: Package: PAX System name: pax Type: non-GNU Description: PAX: Open Source application Note that Savannah supports projects of the Free Software movement, not projects of the Open Source movement. We are careful about ethical issues and insist on producing software that is not dependent on proprietary software. While Open Source as defined by its founders means something pretty close to Free Software, it's frequently misunderstood. For more information, read http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-software-for-freedom.html to manage a flow of documentation, using the rules suggested by AIPA (http://www.aipa.it), these rules describes how the Public Administration must manage its documentation for an easy integration of governament entities, with standards for communications. The project objective is to design and develop a product to implements that guidelines with the help of little governament entities and developers, naturally all this tasks under the Free Software development style. Right now we have not a source repository, we had collected the user requestes, and we need a place where to store the design schemas and the first implementation. Other Software Required: Zope, Python, WxPython Please register your project again and include an (temporary) URL pointing to the source code. The description you gave when registering will not be read by the general public. If you are still concerned with privacy, however, you can forward the code to me by email. We wish to review your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch potential legal issues early. For example, to release your program properly under the GPL you must include a copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code. This is explained in http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html. Our review would help catch potential omissions such as these. Other Comments: I already manage a project on savanna (dcc) but I'm not upgrading it 'cause right now there are many projects with do the same in a better way (gnome system tools) and I'm involved in that project as developer, se we can replace it with this one? We can remove the previous one if you want. Please post a request on the savannah support tracker. Please register your project once more with the changes mentioned above. We cannot track projects that have been answered but not approved, so we must ask you to register the project whenever you change the registration. Make sure to apply all changes so you need to reregister only once. The re-registration URL found in our acknowledgement of your earlier registration will direct you to the proper location. Looking to the web interface, I get a page that says the following: /cgi-bin/viewcvs/blog: unknown location What makes me thing the server is down or the location is not created (but it was yesterday!)? Yesterday the CVS was under heavy maintenance and maybe a process failed. It should be ok now, I set up the repository. [Savannah-hackers] Re: submission of Bolívar - savannah.nongnu.org
Hi, I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah. [EMAIL PROTECTED] said: A package was submitted to savannah.nongnu.org This mail was sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Paulo Schreiner [EMAIL PROTECTED] described the package as follows: License: gpl Other License: Package: Bolívar System name: bolivar Type: non-GNU Description: The project's goal is to create a free implementation of the Neander, Ahmes, Ramses and Cesar architectures. VMs of hese (fictional, so to say) architectures are widely used in Brazil to assist in the teaching of computer architecture and assembly programming. Please resubmit your project with a detailed technical description that specifies such requirements as programming languages and external libraries. It should not exceed one-half a page. Please register your project again and include an (temporary) URL pointing to the source code. [Savannah-hackers] submission of NanoMicroKernel - savannah.gnu.org
A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org This mail was sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Jose Roberto B. de A. Monteiro [EMAIL PROTECTED] described the package as follows: License: gpl Other License: Package: NanoMicroKernel System name: nmk Type: GNU Description: Microkernel for small microcontrollers, with limited ROM and, mainly, RAM area. This microkernel introduces a new paradigma of microkernel programming, because it does not provide context saving. Each task must ends before a timeout. It is a kind of co-tasks. The way of programming is dramaticaly different from a kernel which has context saving. Context saving is avoided because of limited RAM space.
