Swedish prosecutors withdrew an arrest warrant for Julian Assange, saying
that rape suspicions against the WikiLeaks founder turned out to be
baseless. Assange, who last month released 70,000 documents on the
Afghanistan war and plans to release 15,000 more, much to the chagrin of the
Obama administration, earlier referred to the claims as a dirty trick.

Read this on Wired about an hour ago. Interesting that CBS would throw in
the bit about the Obama Admin's reaction to the leaks. As if they want to
steer the focus of the reader.

They are looking for ways to discount his credibility but he knows that he
is at risk. Wikileaks has scooped several big stories over the years. They
are kind of the website that is alluded to in so many conspiracy movies.

In the Wired story (which isn't on their page anymore (??)), they describe
the team he uses to dig up his facts. Sounds a lot like the team in the AMC
series Rubicon. Only six-full-time staffers and a few more volunteers.
