I am trying to write this without giving away anything, but I have to admit that I was moved by this mini-series. It is thought provoking and intense. If I remember correctly, he did mention that he had a relationship a couple of seasons ago. They did a long flashback where they were showing Jack's life in WW1. (ala Wolverine. :) ) After he joined Torchwood. I think that was season 1 or 2.
