My GLHS panels were also painted with that same paint by a previous owner. (SEM) They look great. I don't know why, but it seems the same color seats (light grey or silver) in an OMNI rip apart faster than "any" other color. Could the darker colors stay more pliable because they stay warmer in the winter? I have found almost every other color seats in salvage yards that were nearly perfect. Even the light blue ones. Your best bet is to find a charcoal set from a regular charger in a junkyard.
