Re: CS>Silver - an article,Copper

2000-05-13 Thread Ritz3131
Thanks for all this info. I really appreciate it. at this point a lot of it
is over my head but I will read it some more later. In regard to copper (CU
I believe) a man e-mailed me colloidal copper turned his wife's gray hair
back to 80% natural color and I think he said she is around 60. But, I have
heard that supposedly Copper can cause health problems and there is some book
about this saying many with CFS have copper toxicity. But, I have never
researched that or read up on it myself.

 What is a heavy metal?

"Turning to regular dictionaries (as opposed to chemical dictionaries):
Webster (3) gives "A metal of high specific gravity; esp: a metal having
a specific gravity of 5.0 or over."

All the metals that I think of as heavy metals have densities above 5
g/cm3, while no metals with densities below 5 have heavy metal
chemistry. This supports Webster's definition, but it is deceptive.
Being a heavy metal has little to do with density, but rather concerns
 chemical properties.

The metals that I have seen referred to as heavy metals comprise a block
of all the metals in Groups 3 to 16 that are in periods 4 and greater.
This seems to be a definition that should be generally useful. It may
also be stated as the transition and post-transition metals."
  http://jchemed.chem.wisc.edu/Journal/Issues/1997/Nov/abs1374.html

 "heavy metal

In the human health context, heavy metals are transition metal elements
in the sixth and heavier periods, which should be present only in small
quantities. Like lead Pb) and mercury (Hg), for instance.
In microelectronics, heavy metals are period four and six transition
metals that are troublesome contaminants because of their electrical
properties. Au (see Gold) and Pt are lifetime killers in Si. Fe, Cu, Ni,
and Cr, in period IV, have atomic weights in the range 51 to 63, or
about twice that of Si. They're at the top of the famous curve of
(nuclear) binding energy, so they're rather common.

Because the conventional definitions include only transition metals,
they exclude, amusingly, barium (Ba), whose name means heavy."
  http://www.plexoft.com/SBF/H01.html

"The term heavy metal has apparently arisen as a convenience among
policy makers for referring to metals with potential toxicity. Cadmium,
mercury, lead and bismuth are often mentioned, partly because human
activities have increased their concentration in the environment. Other
metals are also associated with health problems. On the other hand, all
are not, gold being an example because it cannot be easily absorbed by
the body. Moreover, even light metals may cause health problems.

A scientific definition of heavy metal might be based on whether a metal
has a lower or higher density than its oxide. The dividing line in the
periodic table will then go through titanium, which has several oxides,
some of which are heavier and some lighter than pure titanium. Another
approach defines heavy metal as one that has a density greater that 6.0
grams per cubic centimetre. Thereby, metals heavier than vanadium would
be heavy metals, thus including most of the commercial metals."

You've gotten several different answers from other members of the
list. And each answer is correct in it's own set of circumstances.

Probably the best answer to the question you asked is *no*, we
don't and cannot know, unless someone here happens to have bought
the same brand and has experience or test results to share.

Nearly all the preparations we're experienced with here are made by
electrolysis in water and turn out clear, ranging from colorless to
light amber. They range from a few ppm to a few tens of ppm.

The product you're describing could be made by some different
process, could contain additives, or could just be expensive colored
water. It could be perfectly safe and effective -- or not.

Since there are *no* standards for producing and selling CS, it's
easier to know what you're getting from a trusted friend or a vendor
that you know than from the shelf of the health food store.

Be well,

For example I distill my own water and have never had amber or yellow

have purchased commercial distilled water have told me their CS is amber
in color?

Re: CS>Silver - an article

2000-05-13 Thread James Allison
Personally? I've always liked and agreed with what Peter A. Lindemann says
about color:

"There has been a fair amount of controversy in the public literature
concerning the appearance of the "yellow" color. A lot of well meaning people
have told me that "yellow is bad", "silver isn't yellow", "yellow is sulfur
contamination", "yellow is iron contamination", and lots of other things. I
finally found what I believe to be the answer to this question in a book titled
Practical Colloid Chemistry, published in London in 1926. In the section on the
"Colours of Colloidal Metals", sub-section on the "Polychromism of silver
solutions" on page 69, I found the following statements: "The continuous change
in colour from yellow to blue corresponds to a change in the absorption maximum
of the shorter to longer wave-lengths with a decreasing degree of dispersion.
This is a general phenomenon in colloid chemistry illustrating the relation
between colour and degree of dispersion." This section goes on to describe the
colors that show up in a wide variety of colloidal metal solutions.
Interestingly, they ALL have a yellow phase. For true "electro-colloidal"
silver, the particle size range that can appear yellow is .01 to .001 microns
(10 to 100 angstroms) because that is the size of silver particle that best
absorbs the indigo light, leaving only its inverse color, yellow, to be
observed. The final transparent-yellow appearance only shows up after the
particles have become evenly dispersed."

I would not use brown in any circumstances. It's either additives, coloring

Re: CS>(OT) Russians Offer Water Bombers

2000-05-13 Thread Jason R. Eaton

I think the point is that quite a few modern countries - Russia, Japan,
China - would love to explore the area a bit under a guise of international
cooperation. Water bombing is not going to help one iota with any
radiation problem.

I can tell you that a hazardous waste team left from Albuquerque yesterday.
I think it's more likely that we have a chemical burning problem, rather
than a radiation problem. That doesn't bother me NEAR as much as the
potential for a biological containment issue.

Mary,

Are you *sure* it's colloidal silver? I don't think so from your
description.

Mama2Bear,
I have a question for you or anyone else reading this.
I had not had time to set up my own machine so I have been
getting cs from my daughter. She was out so I bought some
from my Health Food Store. It is brown in color you add it
to water. So many drops. Does anyone know about this??

Elena, the colloid is and should be crystal clear. Make your own. Some
crooks are selling plain water with yellow food coloring in it and no
silver.
Others are making silver with a couple of car batteries in the garage
under

filthy conditions. Anything for a buck.
This stuff is amazing. You just don't get over a bladder infection
without drugs. Until now. You can make CS for .50 a gallon and supply
family and friends. What a gift!

Blessings,
mama

Hi Ya'all again,

Yes the good CS is always clear.

Now for the next step in improving your product.

If the T.E. is very visible in your ordinary room light, then the particle sie
is
rather large. It still is effective due to the distribution of
particles sizes. However to get the maximun benifit add constant stirring and
alter
the spacing so that the T.E. is only visible in reduced
lighting. the best CS will have a T.E. that is only visible in a very dark room.

You can get there if you try.

Hi Marsha,

No point in dismissing the information, because the boffins and the
politicians can't agree on a definition.

CS has not been reported as causing argyria (so far as we know),
probably because the amount ingested is much too low to do so. I don't
recall the article suggesting that it did.

Kind regards,
Ivan.

Great work on the Mercury - what did you use to get it out so rapidly?
How did you test to see if your levels had dropped?

CS>question for the list

2000-05-13 Thread DeathBH
Okay Gang: Help - time is running out

I just had all my mercury amalgrams out 3 weeks ago even though broke and
unemployed. But I had reached a point of being completely bed ridden and in
excrutiating pain 24 hours a day.

I just noticed the post (from James) that said :"According to R.O. Becker,
silver is very helpful in restoring nerve
function. And, "heavy metals" start at atomic weight 200; silver is 107.8
and some change."

I have intermittent paralysis in both arms every day of my life; and it is
getting worse. Would the zapper or alot of CS help? even though mine might
be related to an old injury and not mercury toxicity? and BTW, I have
apparently moved the better part of the mercury out of me in record speed -
all my fatigue seems to have left me. I had a severe 7 day reaction and
heavy anxiety for about 3 days; and then it just went away - otherwise, no
real herx reactions to the mercury amalgram removal and mine was extensive -
9 hours of drilling and replacement. And I am now able to look for work; one
month ago I was almost too weak to even send out a resume. Any suggestions
on this paralysis and pain?

thanks,
jeannin
