And at least you know its natural selenium and it's really IN there.
(Unlike some of these vitamin and mineral tablets that you just can't
trust IMO.

Heres some good info about selenium.

Re: CS>Muscle twitching

2008-01-06 Thread Linda
I take a magnesium/potassium supplement before bed. Actually I take 4 of
them. I seldom have the leg cramps or restlessness anymore and even when it
does show up it's very mild.

I have also discovered that on the nights that I have soaked in a hot epsom
salts bath I never have had any restlessness.

RE: CS>Whey-insulin

2008-01-06 Thread ransley

I think that is dependent on the whey product you take. Duncan is a strong
proponent of COLD PROCESSED, UNDENATURED WHEY ISOLATES, which is actually a
small segment of all the whey products on the market. most of those products
being concentrates and processed with questionable methods. I am currently
losing a little weight as I keep taking MMS, but I'm taking a pretty fair
amount of two whey products that he highly recommends; also I am back to
making kefir and straining out the whey to drink it and disposing of the
cheese. If whey made me make more insulin, I don't think I'd be losing
weight.

Daddybob

Hi all, maybe in particular, Duncan because he is such an expert on whey;
I've just read a Widepedia article on whey and they say it increases insulin
production. Now I had always understood that this was a bad thing. Any
comments? Dee

I have a feeling about this- that it might be due to toxins, not to a
deficiency. There are numerous toxins that cause neurotoxicity, which
I think can be part of the restless legs. When the nerves are being
damaged, by whatever mechanism, it can cause many symptoms.
