Thanks for the comments. My inlaws are from that area, more near
Dublin. Do you know the Parks family? Jack Parks is my uncle, they have
a dairy farm out there. I agree with your assessment about the area-
it has much more of a college town feel. I fondly remember the Dr
Pepper store in Dublin, it was still open last time we were out there.

Many years ago I saw a ufo in southern calif, but not close up- still
it did not behave according to the laws of physics I grew up with- it
did the sudden change of direction and accellerated much faster than
anything I had ever seen, faster than was possible. Almost like it
disappeared, then reappeared much much farther away. This sounds like
it was a much closer view.

I wonder what they want- unless they are after cows- there were quite a
lot of them in the area. Otherwise not much there but farmland.

About a month ago I did almost the same thing, except for the headache.Mine
was a small emergency.
Then I finally remembered, the batch [2 US quarts]had run about 10 hours
over ,and it looked OK until I put a few drops of 35% H2O2 in it ,then it
went the same milky white .I've let some of it sit, and now it is
gradually clearing,some slight sedimentation occuring.

What did I make?
I don't have any meter to test with, yet.
This is the first time this has happened to me.

TO:  Old hand CS-ers and Chemistry types;
First, the history:
I make 2gal.+ batches using 1ma DC and 60" of wetted #14, .999 silver
wire. I normally stop when I get about 20ppm on the PWT.

This time I stopped at 15 because I didn't want to let run overnight.
The next morning I restarted the batch. So far so good. But then, I
developed a splitting headache and completely forgot the batch.
I remembered it eight hours later. It was over 25 on the PWT., it was
clear with a hint of yellow, had a fine tyndel with a few sparkles.

NOW THE KICKER:
I thought to add H2O2 to create mostly ionic silver. But when I added
1oz of H2O2, the batch turned a milky gray-white.

Did I use too much H2O2? and what did I make? (other than a mess).
TIA;

Re: CS>Pain

2008-01-23 Thread Clayton Family
A young dr told my mother she had "high" blood pressure and
cholesterol, and they gave her a rx. She told me about it, and I
advised her to get a home monitor to see if it was a probelm all the
time, and to check into the drugs and see what the side effects were.
It turns out that it was addicting! She was shocked, and further
investigation on her part showed her pressure to be normal at home.

Now she does not trust what they tell her- she looks into it herself.

I am proud of her!

Oh, and I remember when the drug companies did not have to put warnings
in their ads- people were dying, so then they were required to put in
warnings of the adverse side effects. I too, am amazed at how people
disregard the warnings and take them anyway.

RE: CS>Pain

2008-01-23 Thread Dan Nave
Since it seems to respond to temperature, the following might be
helpful.

Get 2 buckets, or other containers, big enough to put your foot and
ankle into. Fill one with hot water (but not hot enough to burn your
skin) and the other with cold water and put plenty of ice cubes into it.
Put your foot/ankle into the hot bucket for a minute or two until it
really warms up and then switch it to the cold bucket. Initially spend
less time in the cold bucket, but switch the foot from hot to cold and
back as many times as possible, staying maybe 30 seconds to one minute
in each temperature. Do, say, 7 cycles. Generally, stop after soaking
in the hot bucket so your foot remains warm. You may have to add
additional hot water to the hot bucket, or ice to the cold bucket, but
use your judgment. Also, do this for several days, at least once a day.

This will increase the circulation to this area, and the hot and cold
cycling will flush blood in and out of the area and should help to
remove any toxins, etc from the area and bring healing substances to the
area through the increased blood flow.

If you need more magnesium, you could add a half cup of "Nigari"
(magnesium chloride) or Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) to the hot
water. The Nigari would be more effective. This tends to soften the
tissues and dilate the blood vessels.

Ah but there in lies the rub. I'm not healthy, anything but. About 18
months ago, I was struck down with Myalgic Encphomeyelitis, a fairly
severe case. Now I'm mostly housebound, often bedbound and severely
limited in what I can do or handle.

Now when I developed this, I was following a whole food, unprocessed

loved my work and have always been a follower of positive thinking. -

I did read most of the article and scanned the rest.

It is mostly about Frauds of the Food Industry.

I guess the Genius Doctor that wrote it, like you and others, believes all
the cholesterol fraud and crap. It mentioned that too much.

If you want to bet your life on one article, go ahead.

The whole article is intermixed with main stream ideas, half truths,
and suggestions that people eat too much soy. Nothing of value to most of us.

I have always said, .. Soy as the main source of protein is a
disaster, as are other sources.

Dig deep in proteins and amino acids, and you will find,

Milk beats all others, in many tests, .. hands down, not question
about it.

I used to drink a gallon of milk per day, 6 raw eggs, all the soy protein
I wanted, desiccated liver, REAL cooked liver, and steaks so big they
covered a platter and hung off on some sides.

So, .. tell me all about protein and amino acids.

I can't be sure, but I think your body chemistry is highly compromised.
So, .. you likely do not need to eat soy, and 1000 other things.

Again, along with me, 1,000,000 ( or several million ) more healthy people
have eaten tons of soy, usually as supplements, NOT as the main protein
source.

Anyone is a fool that has used soy or any other single food as the
