Where do you buy your xylitol? This replaces sugar doesn't it? Re: CS>candida.
My thanks to all who replied to my candida question. I've printed out all the information and will pass it on. Tel, thanks for mentioning kefir. I've been making and using if for quite some time now so will certainly be passing on some 'grains' to my friend. Cheers to all, Roger B NZ
CS>shingles - thanks!
A BIG Thank You to all who responded to my request about treating shingles. Great information for my friend, and for my files. I don't post often, but this list has been a real life-line for me over the years in helping to identify and successfully treat my various 'mystery' illnesses. I've also been able to help a number of other people using information I've gotten here. Thanks for being here and sharing your wealth of knowledge! I modified my 'recipe' from information I got some years ago from list members here. Here it is: 1 oz. CS 1 tsp. MSM 1/8 tsp. xylitol 1/8 tsp. DMSO I used an inexpensive Mabis Mini-Comp nebulizer for 20 minutes three or four times a day to treat a particularly virulent case of bronchial pneumonia & it worked really well. I'm still nebulizing twice a day but am happy to say I'm nearly fully recovered. As far as the difference with/without MSM + DMSO: when I was nebulizing for mold in my lungs I noticed when I used both, the treatments just felt more effective - as in faster response when I used both. Sorry I can't be more specific! HTH. Claire -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. I sent a page on Colloidal silver a couple days ago, CS will help Candida, (the beginning stage of fibermyalga) Also Kefir will help kill Candida, which is an over growth of bad bacteria. Look up the word Kefir on the web, lots of info. Tel Tofflemire Dewey, AZ. --- On Tue, 10/13/09, Smitty wrote: From: Smitty Subject: Re: CS>candida. CS>CS
Does making CS basically just boil down to electrolysis? I see systems with one 9 volt that make 3-5 ppms in about 2-1/2 hr.s. Then I see systems that use four 9 volt batteries. And they make 10 ppm in about 1-1/2hr.s. I would think then if the four 9 volt system put out less then 36 volts because of lets say the batteries getting old. It would theatrically still make good CS. But just take longer because of the lower voltage?
Re: CS>candida.
It is common knowledge that sugar, and empty carbs in general, feeds candida. Does anyone know if Xylitol does the same? We switched to Xylitol several years ago. I tried other things, but I could not tolerate stevia and have doubts about agave nectar. We use Xylitol whenever sweetening is called for, mostly coffee and tea. homemade jam, baked goods, etc. I was under the impression that Xylitol was helpful in getting rid of Candida. That is based on this paragraph from one web site: An interesting exception to this rule is Xylitol. Dr. Ward Dean states that this sweetener is not metabolized by humans OR yeast: "Yeast gobble it up, thinking they're getting sugar, and die". He considers it one of the best anti-candida strategies! However, I must add a cautionary note, since it appears that for some, Xylitol is a problem. Note that most Xylitol available now is made from corn cobs, rather than the original Birch Bark. We only used pure Birch sugar from Finland, very expensive, but I think worth it since I can't drink coffee or tea without a teaspoon of sweetener, and I have heard that most other forms of Xylitol are made from corn in China.. http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Life-Sweetener-powder/dp/B000153A9M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1255455206&sr=8-1 Del - Original Message - From: Clayton Family To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Tuesday, October 13, 2009 11:56 AM Subject: Re: CS>candida. Many find relief from enemas of one kind or another, because the toxins causing the herx get re-absorbed in the gut; so evacuating the gut can really help. Sweating is another route toxins can exit, again, wiping the sweat off immediately before it is re-absorbed is important. I agree with Garnet about the supplements and probiotics- that helps both with the herx and the re-establishing of normal gut flora. Often candida is lumped in with other fungal infections that are often present in the body, such as aspergillus, etc, so that can affect the die off, etc. It may be important to go slowly with the antifungals, to keep the die off manageable. But however one looks at it, it is a mountain that must be climbed to get to the other side, no way around it. It is important not to give up too soon, if the herxing is bad.
