To all (especially new members)
You can make a Controlled Current Generator with and Wall DC power supply using
a Current Regulating Central Diode they come in various currents 610-1N5297
from Mouser Electronics is for 1 Mill amp
You put this in line with power supply with a volt meter you can measure
voltage (higher as Silver is further apart and lower as you move silver
closer together). It adjust voltage to maintain mill amp rating. I use silver
maple leaf coins,
I hang them from a piece of silver wire. I drill the coins and hang them on a S
hook out of the silver wire.
I have 2 silver coins that are about 2/3 gone, I just hung a new coin with the
old.
No matter how much your service area of silver it will always maintain 1 mill
amp.
I have a volt meter, it is interesting to watch how the voltage drops to limit
current to
1 mill amp. I have 9 volt plug in power supply (at 400 mill amp).
At no load it puts out almost 23 volts, at 1 mill amp it will put out about 21
or 22 volts.
If you are looking for power supply look for 9 volts or higher with a 400 mill
amp
Rating or higher. Got my eye on a power supply for computer which is 30 volts
DC at
Over 1 amp. You can also but all different power supplies at Mouser
Electronics.
I have seen the volt ohm meters on sale at Harbor Freight for around $5.

Re: CSSpeaking of gels

2010-10-18 Thread Ode Coyote

I fail to see what ultra sound has to do with electrical conduction.
Seems more likely that the gel is being used to interface and transmit the
*sound* thus electrical conductivity won't matter at all...only viscosity
and density and any fairly thick heavy gel will do the same thing.
Be aware that ultrasonics of any real intensity will make small hard
objects [like little bones ] very hot ...very quickly.

CS gel will conduct electricity as will salt water gel depending on the
concentration of substances [like salt] that will transport electrons via
electrochemical ion exchange.

My question is about the electrode conducting gels. I bought an

So I'm wondering if there's anything special about a conducting gel? I
have Ode's gel making kit that I have not used yet. Will any gel work or
do I need to buy gel made specifically for conduction? Will plain water
do, or does it need the gel to keep the skin 'wet' because with water only
it could dry out during a 10 to 20 minute use?

The voltage doesn't matter...it's all about current ..the result of
voltage being modulated by resistance and that resistance being altered by

I am using the machine V made for me. I could bring it down to 9 volts,
but my husband told me to leave it alone. So here i am using 27V which
alternates, but i still have to use a tiny lever to switch every five

Sure, but you are diluting the CS and since CS doesn't do much in a semi

perfectly good gel kit for sale on his website, all you have to do is
buy it, follow his directions by mixing it with colloidal silver (EIS)
and you have a perfectly good gel. This comment is not directed at
your personally, how ever I observe many on this list in need of doing
their own thing, when a perfectly good way has been achieved by many
here over the years, who are the base for all we know and are able to
share with those who wish to learn. However if there are those who are
so into their egos that they cannot accept the work of others which
has been perfected then so be it. As a result of this observation
there are many new-comers who are completely confused by all the ego
suggestions !

Re: CSMaking CS at home

It is not difficult. Get a Silvergen or Silver Pupply, put distilled
water in it, and plug it in. It is ready when the LED goes on (or off,
depending on the model).

If you want to go to the trouble of making it yourself, then start with
20 to 30 volts, and limit current to 1 mA per square inch of anode.
Improved product is made by stirring, and reversing polarity every
minute. When the voltage reaches some target value, it is ready. The
lower the voltage the higher the ppm.

CSnew thoughts on lipsomes encapsulation

2010-10-18 Thread polo
I have been curious for a while why Livon Lab's liposomal C looks different
from our homemade stuff. I have come to the conclusion that one major reason
is that they use ethanol in the process and we do not. From what I am able
to read on the subject, it appears that if one incorporates an ethanol
fraction to lecithin it will produce a more jell like substance and it will
produce a higher quality liposome more stable under the acidic conditions
encountered in our stomach. Some of the studies that lead me to this:

https://qir.kyushu-u.ac.jp/dspace/bitstream/2324/4572/1/p119.pdf

and

bigbro.biophys.cornell.edu/publications/197_Polozova.pdf

My clue that Livon uses ethanol can be seen at:

http://www.livonlabs.com/cgi-bin/start.cgi/lypo-spheric/LivOn-FAQ.html#10

It seems to me they are underplaying the use of ethanol in their
lipo-spheric C, but this is what they write:

Q: Why is there alcohol in the Lypo-SphericTM Vitamin C?

A: There is alcohol in the product for preservative purposes. This is a
pharmaceutical grade natural grain alcohol which will not cause any ill
effects in the body. If you do not wish to consume the alcohol in the
product, open the packet and let it sit for 10-15 minutes to let the alcohol

Anyone have further thoughts on ethanol and LET?

It's curious about the oxidizing caution.
C is an antioxidant.

Re: CSSpeaking of gels

2010-10-18 Thread needling around

Hi Sandee,
The gel does more than that. It is conductive and helps the signal move
from the treatment head and into your body... as I understand it.

Ode from my personal experience all the gel does is hold the electrodes
onto the skin ! I have actually used water to prove this point to
myself, however of course as soon as the water dries you loose contact

Take good care my Friend

HOAX - Re: CSDO NOT CALL LIST - HOAX

2010-10-18 Thread Steve G
Isn't this one of those internet hoax emails we read about?  The last time I
checked this one out, it was a hoax.   Personally, I never forward on any
emails until I have personally checked them out.  Even if the email itself says
it has been checked out by someone, I don't trust that either!

I get enough of these hoax emails from well-meaning friends and relatives.
Let's not have them on the silver list.

Check it out if you like.
