RE: CSHelp
Don't be put out or put off at all Floyd, I notice this List or whatever controls it is mislaying? some posts in recent times. To answer your question below in a word...NO! This is the only site I have any faith in, and the only people I trust with honest and genuine input - with no strings attached or agendas to push. And you would be right regarding reasons for non response. If nobody knows an answer to a question the question may get ignored, there's a limit to credible knowledge regarding EIS/CS. I have my own thoughts and opinions on some things EIS/CS related. I'm not bashful, only when I don't have a clue for an answer to something, other than my opinion and/or personal convictions, any discussion is better than none for everyone. As for nobody caring, that could not be further from the truth with the folk here so you can forget about that one as quick as you thought of it. Disclaimer: All the above is opinion only and not meant to be taken as Gospel g. P.S. I, too, searched all over the place for the machine you mentioned - and came up with zilch? N. I tried to find your machine but I can't find anything about anywhere, in any search engine I've tried, therefore I'm sorry but I've no idea how to help. Floyd, Why don't you restate your questions again under a new subject line? You will probably get some response now... This unit looks like a voltage regulated device which can go into a runaway mode if you brew for too long. Not very sophisticated but it will make acceptable colloidal silver if you know a few things about how to use it. Also, contamination of any kind in the brew chamber can cause problems. Re: CSHelp
Hi Floyd, Yes, as a long time member mostly lurking now, I saw a question from you a short time ago. I was interested in answering but got no-where with a search for your CS device, (the internet has never heard of it) so I couldn't find any info. Do you have a web address for your machine? I was interested to know why one would choose to set various voltages but lost concentration when I found nothing. There are only three emails from you in my personal archives here, so your other emails have not arrived. This list which is usually v reliable or we all know about it soon enough. ? I see that Neville answered very comprehensively but you have not responded to that at all. Your answers would perhaps have stimulated further discussion. So, for my part your questions are unanswerable until we know a bit about the design and operating instructions that you have. I suggest that you go to your manufacture for aid. It would be very interesting to include the your Q's and their A's here in order to increase the knowledge and start some discussion. If the manufacturer has disappeared then perhaps you could give us a copy of any technical and graphical info that you have. Then perhaps between us we can back-engineer a full set of instructions for you. The essentials are size of rods and the max current flow. Immersed area is a basic parameter. Current flow needs to managed. Too much and you get the wrong kind of CS . Too little current and the process takes forever. Good quality water, cleanliness, temperature are also important variables to be controlled. Are you stirring and how? CS quantity, ppm, is time and water volume dependant basically. CSFloyd's colloidal questions.
I just replied and it did not make the archives. Repeat: *Thank you floyd. Now we're cooking.** * I am taking the liberty of reprinting Floyd's original email. Ron Floyd's machine: *http://thechoiceforhealth.webs.com/* ** *Hello. I have just made my first batch of colloidal silver with my new machine and I have some questions. * ** 1.*The voltage is adjustable from 3.7 – 11.7 VDC. I was surprised that it would not go up to the 32 VDC that I have read about. Do you think that something is wrong?* 2.*If nothing is wrong, what would be the better voltage to set it at and why?* 3.*I ran the machine for 2 hours and got 7 ppm. Is that normal?* 4.*I continued to run it all night (about 14 hours) and got 15 ppm. Is that OK?* 5.*The negative silver wire is solid black. Is that normal?* 6.*The positive silver wire was covered with what looked like ¼ inch of brown jelly something? Is that normal?* 7.*The bottom of the jar was covered completely with about ¼ inch of the same brown what ever? Is that normal?* 8.*The CS itself is basically clear.* 9.*I will filter the CS through a coffee filter. Is that right?* 10.*I am supposed to throw away the first batch. Is that right?* ** *Floyd* --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com

CSRe: Help - for the Silverlist.
I responded to Floyds original question but my post did not appear. Many of my posts don't appear. This one probably wont either. (Or maybe it will - twice). I've directed hundreds, if not thousands, of people towards this list but their names rarely appear. How this forum has survived is a miracle. Its just too complicated. Its time this list moved to a more stable and user friendly, website based platform. Only Mike can do that. He has the loyalty of the members. My spam filter gets this silver list most often. Of course, the format of the group may lend itself to maleficence more than others...and those for whom English is not a first language will fall into spam filters as well. Have you checked the archives to make certain your post did not?
