Janet The best thing to do is: Make no hasty decisions. The doctors will try to pressure you, but investigate ALL options before doing ANYTHING that can't be reversed. No surgery, it won't grow back. She can temporarily take PTU I can't spell it but the doctor will know what it is. It controls it, but when you quit taking it there is no permanent damage and it will buy you time.The doctor may tell you that it won't do any good, but it keeps you from being so sick while you investigate. Hi Edith I take it to strengthen my heart output, the difference I notice is when I don't take it. There are prescription drugs that will do the same thing but they all have side effects of one sort or another, CoQ doesn't and is compatible with any thing else. If your mother is not already takng CoQ10, she should be. From 100 to about 300mg per day,or more. Hi Suzy' Remember the goiter belts because of a lack of iodine in the soil? It wasn't solved until iodine was added to salt..Iowa is a corn growing state and corn really depletes the soil. FDA rules state you can't use CS on cows, but they allow drugs known to be harmful to be added to animal feed to fatten them for market and allow other things to be added to our milk and then refuse to let it be labelled so we don't know whether we are buying adulterated milk or not. Par for the course!! I still don't see why we can't start a grass-roots movement to disband the FDA.The longer we wait to actually try to do something the harder it will be -- You know the impossible just takes a little longer! Russ, There are so many ways to go. There are magazines that would write it up - even if they did it in the guise of making fun. There are talk shows that would host a guest. Someone personable and articulate, for a start. But you have to do something to become newsworthy. You have to get their attention!! If someone with a computer could design petitions for others to down load so they would be uniform (I don't have a computer, I have a webtv.) and if each person would make the effort to fill just one page = sit out side Wal-Mart or K-Mart or large grocery stores, or in a mall with a card table,(you MUST get permission) and let the local press know. Get a spot on the local news that this is being done, It's better to have two or three people together at a card table. If possible, print up The Story of The FDA or ...The IRS or whatever. and pass it around. That's just for starters. I'm sure other people would have other - and better - ideas. Hi, I asked for this after my ENT DR and a friend told me about the good results a ACCM Dr. was having with this protocal, one of which has Lyme, the other Hepatitis C and another with a lung infection. I happen to be going to another ACCM approved MD and I told him about and I looked into it and gave him the information and who the distributor was and he is doing this at my suggestion as I am tired of being ill but am concerned as I don't want to make matters worse. Have chronic lyme. I'll be getting one ounce with the first IV and two ounces on the second and three ounces on the third. I am drinking over a cup a day of my 18 ppm homemade CS and don't seem to be getting better and was thinking it might help to get it into the veins. Do you think that it would be a bad thing to do?
