I have tried to e-mail this two times now to silver-list@eskimo.com and have
got it back both times.

Anyway I was listening to the Debra Ray show today, she had a Dr.Cindy
Jones, PHD in chemistry. Dr. Jones made the statement that using CS would
cause bronchitis.

Has anyone ever heard this before?

Also I would suggest that the govt. goons issue black shirts with SS on
the collars to HOMELAND SECURITY. Tom

Ok, about 2 years ago I started using about 1/2 to 1 oz/day of a 100 ppm
colloidal silver product from Water Oz and about 2 mos ago I started using
16-32 oz of about 12-15 ppm according to the PWT of my own brew using a
generator made by Sota Instruments with constant current adapter and then a
Coyote Zenterprises generator also with constant current and thermal
stirring (When I was using 32 oz made by the Sota generator I assumed that
it was 5 ppm but according to the PWT it was more like 15 ppm) . Never
noticed anything until now but the moons on my fingernails definitely have a
blue-purple tint. Who knows they may have been blue for quite a while and
maybe I just never noticed it until Marshall mentioned it. Guess I should
stop for a little while and see what happens. I'll keep you posted.

Dear List Members,

Columbia University is requesting information from patients and health
care providers about promising CAM therapies for serious illness based
upon your experiences.

There are people who see this as a threat to the status quo and their
own personal interests. They are well-organized and committed to not
allowing CAM to become more widely accepted and available.

You can help by going to Columbia University's website and
submitting your experiences with CAM in treating serious illnesses.
Serious illness is defined as illness that is long-term, usually does not
resolve itself, and is seldom curable.

If you have a story to share and the time to share it, please go

Is there any evidence to support this contention?

I have been consuming Microdyn CS, whatever its strength is, for six years,
at times heavily, straight out of the bottle into my mouth.

During a bout of Australian flu three years ago, I drank 10 drops of
Microdyn every hour, right out of the bottle, for three straight days.
(There were elderly people dying in NYC from that flu, and I didn't want to

Additionally, my drinking water is a prepared mix of sea salt, bentonite

I have never had any adverse reactions to this practice, and consider
Microdyn safe for consumption undiluted.

 Dear Jason,
Thanks for your very thoughtful message. I can see your point that it
would be best for concentrated CS to be administered by a doctor. But
how ironic that the vast majority of otherwise-reliable, western
educated doctors would appear to tend not to accept the validity of CS,
also the victims of the dis-information.

You asked about the possibility of my having a comparison done on the
high ppm CS I make, to see how effective it really is, and I will hope
to do that at some point in the future. But at present I use this CS
primarily to saturate ceramic candle filters, all of which have tested
100% removal of fecal coliforms. I use the high ppm secondarily for
various treatments on my family while traveling, 'where there is no
 doctor.'

For example, my wife Catherine had a very nasty bout of strep throat
while we were in a Nepali game park, far from any clinic. She had had
this kind of severe strep several times before, only going to the doctor
after it hit her like a ton of bricks, and each time she'd go on
antibiotics and be laid up in bed for nearly a week. While in the game
park, when seh finally admitted that it was severe strep (her throat
red) we put her on a careful regime of the labelled-3200ppm Microdyn,
diluted to ~20ppm, a 200ml. glass every four hours. By the second glass
she was already feeling better and no further bed rest was indicated, so
she didn't miss out on any of the fun activities of the family. (We
subsequently rode an elephant out to a place where we could watch
 rhinos.)

It would be interesting to know how Mexicans fare at the business of
self treatment with Microdyn. I suppose I have not tuned in sooner to
your concern about improper dosage simply because, CS in any shape or
form is considered improper by most doctors, misquided as their
viewpoint may be. So it may appear that the laymen need to hazard their
own dosing, dependent on their own good instincts in seeking proper
advice. Of course your concern about a doctor's supervision would
extend to many kinds of remedies and not only those of CS. But what
with lack of medical facilites, educated people in third world countries
have to make do. For example, peace corps doctors around the world tend
to warn their volunteers about the hazards of self prescription/ self
dosage. Then they give the volunteers prescription drugs, like
antibiotics, prior to their going to their various postings, usually
 remote.

So I may see your point about unethical sales of high ppm in the U.S.,
for example. But given the climate in third world countries, where self
dosing is de rigeur, I think the ethical aspects get thrown out the
window. In a fair and just world your wisdom would perhaps prevail.
 Reid

 Jason said,
 Reid:

My greatest concern with the high PPM solutions is misuse. You'll note
 that

After trying many alternatives such as Reiki, Theraputic touch, Universal
Healing, Pranic Energy, Gentle Touch, Chants, Affirmations and some others
w/o significant improvement.back to the Doc.

The drug Neurotin is used to treat depression. However, it was also found
 to
work for shingles. It is still considered experimental treatment for phn.
They don't know why it works, when and if it does.

 I was prescribed 300mg/day which I took for 30 days and 600mg/day for 30
 days
with no improvement. I just started 900mg/day and on the 2nd day there was
a
 70% reduction in pain.

 The maximum dosage is 2,400mg/day.

I can drive rather comfortably now and walk straight up but slowly.
 Hopefully
may even give up my handicap plague soon. Let's see.

I have uploaded the 1914 Scientific American article about CS to a FTP site
for those who wish to download it.

The pages in the volume were 10.5 x 15, so I had to segment it, in 3 jpeg
files.

Also, for better viewing, enlarge the pics to 150% of normal.

The information contained within the article is historically significant. It
really names the fathers of Colloidal Silver and the origin to which it
was discovered. It leaves in it's wake trails for additional research.

Can anybody recommend a good tester for checking Parts per Million (silver)
then a silver tester and
an Ozone tester - to test ozone in the air.

I am at present using Hanna TDS equipment - but not terribly impressed. Any
recommendations?

Hi Gordon, from what I have seen posted on this list, you are right to
distrust Hanna's TDS meter for silver ppm. What has been recommended
is the Hanna PWT meter with a small conversion factor,- - see a post below
from May about this subject,

Subject: CSTDS-1 versus PWT for measuring PPM

Hi James,

I don't mean to jump in when you addressed the post to Dean but the fact is
that the PWT reads CS much better than the TDS-1 for several reasons as
pointed out on our website. Also, you do NOT divide by half when using the
PWT. You ADD to the reading. In the case of our generators you add 20%.
Hanna is right in telling you to cut the reading in half IF you're measuring
dissolved solids such as minerals in the water. However, we as CS users are
interested in measuring the content of CS to determine what silver content
we have. In this case the meter only measures the ionic portion of CS. And
that reading is always less than the total amount of silver content because
the meter will NOT read the colloidal portion. Therefore one has to add to
the reading to get the total PPM. The correction factor will be the
difference between how much of the mix was colloidal versus ionic. We have
had our CS analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry and it is
generally always the same ratio.

Another thing I forgot to mention is the fact that the TDS-1 has an accuracy
tolerance of + - 2% of full scale. Since the TDS-1 reads from 0-999 that's
+ - 20 PPM. Since the PWT reads from 0-99.9 and has the same percentage of
accuracy that's + - 2 PPM. And the PWT gives you a decimal point in the
reading while the TDS-1 reads in whole numbers only.

I hope this helps clear up some of the controversy about the TDS-1 versus
the PWT. The PWT is the best choice hands down for measuring PPM.

Subject: CSJon saved my life

Came on this list because old doc Jon was pushing CS and his 6 volt
generator. Bad heart and research had produced info. that low level
infections could start the build up in veins. CS seamed ideal answer.
Was to late, had really bad attack, had hours to live, had 4 veins replaced
in bypass. Died 2 times in week after, right place as they kick started the
old heart in short order. Pushing on my chest getting it going they cut my
breast bone to pieces. It was wired together in operation with wires that
cut it. Opened me up again to repair and could not, have no breast bone.
They installed my very own kike starter in my chest for next time heart goes
on holday. In keeping with Murphys law got staff infection in cut ankle to
groin for replacement vein. Cure was as bad as infection, only one antibotic
available and it eats veins.

Two months latter got out of hospital and nursing homes. Heart was in bad
shape, left side enlarged and only pushing 16% of blood out. Lungs badly
congested, could not lay down to sleep, feet and legs badly swelled, cut in
left leg would not heal, could not walk100 feet. Attention span and short
term memory a joke. Heart doctor laid it on the line, needed new heart but
was to old to get one. Too much damage. Time was in weeks at most, get my
affairs in order. Wife and I left office with all the standard expensive
goodies with (it may help some). Still had two sons 14 and 15 at home not
ready for the world yet. Not ready to go and did not have any feeling of
dieing just yet, only 70, roses not yet smelled.

Researching med line the doctor was right, standard medicen had no answers.
No question I needed another treatment plan. Searching the web for a couple
of weeks with no answers, On Jon's list and he posts my answer. Didn't need
to look he had it. Another doctor gave it to him and he shared. Needed to
pop some pills available every place across the counter. First week felt
better and each week their after. Could lay down to sleep in a month, leg
swelling went down. Was not coughing up nearly as much. Two months wife and
I drove from Phoenix to Cleveland Ohio and some places in Pa, and back. No
problem. That was year ago.

Tried to share answer with my doctor, he shut me up, Said he doesn't deal
with any thing out side standard medicen. Haven't taken any of his medicen
in many months, saved hundreds of dollars, and many negative effects of
them. Seem this information has been around for long time, used in Europe
and Japan and by some dotors else ware, a few in the states. Many heart
transplants are un-necessary and a real benefit to congestive heart
problems. Countless lives could have been extended with this simple
inexpensive answer. Seem only about 17% of people by study have enough in
their system. Blamed on modern diet, low grade food and anti cholesterol
medicen. Its starting to be known out side standard medicen. Has a
cancer-fighting effect along with better engery. Important to good health
and prevention of heart problems.

I am not the only one to make recovery, others just as bad have did the
same. Few families have not been affected with heart problems, If not you're
self, loved ones and friends. One may never have heart problems with its
use. Your doctor probably doesn't even know about it, which in my mind is
bordering on criminal. No secret, a web search will find tons of info..
Heart medications cost hundreds a month and can and do cause damage.
Researching mine was scary. A common, non-toxic over the counter, well
researched for years repair and possible cure being ignored is unbelievable.
Does produce questions. One would think (what works) is what we pay them for
when we place trust of health and life in their hands.

Have been holding my own for 14 years against bladder cancer and have
learned the value of the web, state of the art information is to be found
for the search. Taking charge of ones own life is a necessity .Jon may march
to a different drumbeat but I believe he's one of the good guys. This is the
information from him that saved my life.

Christy, I have used CS on mold and it worked OK. You can also use vinegar
I put straight vinegar in spray bottle and sprayed the heck out of it.

Subject: CSWill CS kill mold?

We are doing some home remodeling. After tearing wallpaper off of a
sheetrocked soffets near the ceiling in our kitchen, we discovered large
areas of black mold growing behind the wallpaper, undoubtedly resulting from

an upstairs bathroom leak around a bathtub drain years ago. I am concerned
about the health threat posed by this mold as I have read some nationally
published articles on homes becoming downright toxic because of interior
mold.

My question: Will spraying these moldy areas with colloidal silver kill the
mold which is growing there?
