Chlorine apart from the smell is bad ,one reason not to use swimming pools unless they are treated with CS, I imagine these same delicate parts would soak up chlorine as well. I have at least not on hand any information relating to the combined Fluoride + chlorine but would bet it would make a nasty cocktail.
