CS>Re: Charles and supplements.
To smooth out ascorbic acid and make Sodium ascorbate, which is a better way to take ;put 1 tspn of ascorbic acid[Vit.C] Just make sure it is L-ascorbic acid... in a glass, add 1/2 tspn of Baking soda, add water, let fizz, then drink. This I find is my best way to take.If that does not work, then Calcium Ascorbate could be the answer. Mixing with the calcium bentonite accomplishes the same thing, but you also get the added benefit of the clay. Clay is an *awesome* tool in any ongoing health regimen... as is activated charcoal. In fact: Activated charcoal/calcium bentonite clay 'slurries' are extremely effective at minimizing, or even eliminating herx reactions, even with very aggressive cleansing programs like ozone therapy. -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. I would like to use the ascorbate form of C that you mentioned as I have heard it is best but it is to acidic for me. You might try taking it in combination with a good quality calcium bentonite clay. The clay will reduce the benefit, but not that much, and it will buffer the C to the point that many people who can't tolerate it otherwise, can... worth a try at least... Something else that is *very* good for most digestive problems (including ulcers, etc) is raw, organic apple cider vinegar (I like BRaggs, but as long as it is raw and organic)... The biggest challange is in vitamin Bs The best source I have found is a combination of nutritional yeast (Red Star is supposed to be safe for those with candida problems): www.bulkfoods.com/yeast.htm and a good quality bee pollen/propolis (I like YS Organics brand bee products): www.ysorganic.com and minerals. I think that a good quality calcium bentonite clay is a great source of minerals (clay is, in fact, the source of most commercially available trace mineral products)... -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
