 The urls were presented incorrectly.

Unfortunately, my friend, you do not know correct from incorrect or
from a hole in the ground.

You either have a stupid browser, stupid router, stupid mail program,
or operating system.Or all of the above.

 Or a combination thereof.

I tried every link that Rowena posted, and all the ones I posted, and
100 % of them worked, yes, worked perfectly.

( all the ones you posted worked just like the ones Rowena Posted and
 like the ones
 I posted )

 I tried them several times, .. 8 or 10. .. Not one
failed. Not once did it fail.

I have not a clue of what problems exist.

Yep, confirmed.
They worked prefectly for me, as well.
Probably a microsoft issue.

Maybe you can define a Universal Link that works everywhere, under
 every condition.
or .. 100 % compatible links. If they work for me, they should
 work for everyone else.

And.. I never post any link without testing it.. never,
 never, never...

If you recall, several people were blaming my old, two bit web pages for
 crashing their browser.

And they were all wrong as well.

My web pages are 12 to 15 years old, some of them, and Microsoft and
 other web page
crutches had virtually nothing to do with them.

They are all made with a Plain Jane, .. Two BIT ASCII Editor, one of
 the best in the world
 called Q-Edit.

I typed and hacked every web page,

Some new browsers may not work, or work perfect with my old web pages.
But, . blame them for no intelligence to use the old standard,
 ..
do not blame me or my old web pages.

A good command-line text editor and some knowledge of HTML is all you need to
make
a fine web page, Internet Exploder's bad manners notwithstanding. :)

A lot of people have no idea about compatiblity, standards, or the fact
that email and browser software on an out-of-the-box windows install respects
neither.
That's how microsoft manages to establish defacto standards that fly in the
face of
actual standards. A dirty trick to keep people dependent upon their brand
of software.

Now that more people are using mozilla products for mail and browsing, it's
throwing a wrench in microsoft's plans.

But I'll bet you already knew that.
:)

Cheers,
indi
