Hi Ken,

In my own personal experience alone at home, I have noticed that there is
sometimes
temporary constipating due to CS but this soon passes same day. I guess that a
heavy dose
of CS knocks out some friendlies but that they recover and cope with any
following CS. Or
that the CS has or causes a temporary stool binding effect.

My observation is that this seems to happen only if the CS is freshly made.
Either that fresh
CS has some special effect or that the CS is less effective in the colon
department if it is not
fresh. ymmv

I'm glad you opened this subject. Others say that it is impossible for CS to do
anything in the
gut due to being transformed to inert substances in the stomach and that the
colon contents
are not liquid enough. . My experience is that CS does have effects on the
colon and
contents.

OK,
Tony

 Digestive Interactions

Colloidal silver is apparently able to kill nearly all micro-organisms,
including the friendly flora your digestive system needs for proper
function. I have spoken with hundreds of people who have taken colloidal
silver on a daily basis and have noticed no digestive upset, even after
prolonged use. I have also spoken to two individuals who reported
digestive upset after taking colloidal silver one time. So, in my
experience, the die-off of friendly flora is possible, but rare.

There are a number of strategies that can reduce the probability of
digestive interactions. The simplest one is to swish the colloidal silver
around in your mouth for 30 seconds before swallowing. This promotes an
absorption of the colloidal silver into the body away from the intestinal
tract. Another strategy is to take smaller doses, multiple times per day,
or with meals. Either way, if you do experience a die-off of friendly
flora, they can be re-populated by taking any of the acidophilus products
 on the market.

The silver has to make contact to do anything. If it is locked up in a
solid, it can't migrate to make contact and only that portion on the
surface of the solid can do anything.
If using CS locks itself up even more solidly, it's gonna do less.
Perhaps that's your bodies way of preserving and defending that gut flora.
If that isn't successful, an overburden of bad bacteria may grow which
tends to make everything very loose and liquid...so CS will work more.

Re: CSColloidal Silver, A Closer Look

2015-03-21 Thread Tony Moody
Hallo Ode,

Yes that does make complete sense, that the silver must be able to get in
contact to be able
to do anything.

In my gut it is only the tail end that contains fairly solid material, the rest
is quite liquid. The
rectum contents are more or less a putty consistency. As a generality. going
backwards, the
contents above the sigmoid flexure are almost always liquid, sort of a thick
stew consistency
and getting more and more liquid. Wobble your tummy and listen to the sloshes
and gurgles;
most of that is way from being solid.

Of course the silver has difficulty making it through mucus, and there is a lot
of that there, in
which the micro-organisms can hide.

OK,
Tony
