I have no doubt that that is true as there is no definitive test for
 Lyme.
As to a cure that is proven, that depends on what you mean by proven.
In my case I need no more proof than the fact that I no longer have the
symptoms, all due to the use of CS.
My lyme disease was 42 years old with the beginning in 1957 while I
was in Germany in the US Army. At that time they had no knowledge of
such a malady. I had suffered with it for all that time and only 4 years
ago I got the migrans rash again that I seem to get occasionally only
that time I was seeing a doctor that wouldn't entertain the the notion
that I had Lyme so to shut me up he agreed to test me for Lyme. He
thought I probably had psoriasis because of the rash so he gave me some
stuff to keep it from itching Which it didn't anyway.
The test came back positive and that along with the rash was enough
 for a clinical diagnosis.
It had progressed to the point that the neurological aspect had made
it to the point that I couldn't communicate my thoughts and the
arthritis had me on crutches with my knees almost as big as my waist.
I had been diagnosed with degenerative arthritis of the spine and had
lost over two inches in highth.
There is a ton more to tell but suffice it to say if i'm not cured I
at least have no more symptoms, I've gained back at least an inch in
highth and I can outrun any teenager that wants to challenge me.
As to the degenerate arthritis, I had been told that my limit was 25
lbs.to lift with my back. Yesterday I lifted a 200 lb. engine totally
with my back without using my knees, by bending at the waist.
As far as the neurological I am more aware and able to communicate
quite well as you can see by reading this.
So am I cured? I doubt it but you might call it a permanent remission
that will endure as long as I keep up the CS.
The only problem I've encountered so far from the CS is that I am
Hypo thyroid and the leaching ( or binding with) selenium made a
worsening of the fatigue aspect. When I first kicked the hell out of the
Lyme spirochete My energy level increased dramatically but then after a
few months of CS it fell off to a totally unacceptable level.
Now I take a selenium and potassium supplement and am getting the energy
 back slowly but surely.
That's my story, ( at least a small part of it) hope it helps
 Dave

i still have lyme disease or post lyme syndrome or whatever after
three years.
i don't have much good to say about lyme. it is similar to HIV in that
it is chronic

(at this stage) and requires a complete lifestyle to manage.
having it has changed my life, in some ways much for the better.
it is much easier to live for today and much easier to give up
addictions and

vices that hinder my spiritual developement. i have more courage to make
independant choices and i am constantly aware of my mortality and the
importance of my time left.
i am more resigned -in a good way. i am resigned to making the most of
my life and expressing my love. love continues after we are gone -we
don't.

Dave,

Glad to hear you have got better... I think you should always look on the
bright side of life. If you are sick today, maybe a few days / months down
the line, you are able to function properly again.

I am interested to know... How long did it take for the CS to work and at
what quantity? Were you taking abx as well?

Re: CSLyme Disease cure?

2004-06-28 Thread Dave

Dave
It took me 72 hours after I got serious about it.
At first I bought a couple pint bottles and started taking a tablespoon
a day as was the list wisdom at that time. I bought a generator and then
was very disappointed that I couldn't experience anything going on so I
swallowed the remaining pint that I had purchased thinking it was
probably about as potent as most over the counter pain killers (totally
worthless).
I got a dandy Herx so I figured if I had a few of the little buggers
on the run I would step up the treatment rather than back off as I see
suggested here often. Then I chuged a quart of my first homemade CS and
followed with a glass full (8oz) every half hour that I was awake. In
the middle of the second night I awoke with a feeling much like that of
breaking a cold or the flue. I felt great for the first time in years.
Now I'm not saying anyone else should get that aggressive but it worked
for me. You see at that time I didn't give a damn If it killed me
because that would have been preferable to the condition I was in.
As far as being sick since then I haven't seen anymore than a small
annoyance or two in any condition
Some things take almost as long to get better as it took to go down
the tube in the first place, such as aging which is continually
digressing at about three times the rate of normal aging. When I was 40
I felt like at least 80 and now at 68 I feel about 45.
I was on the sci lyme list and was reading the talk about ABX and
decided I didn't need any of that misery as I had enough already.
