If you can get this at $7.00 plus a few $$ shipping, it might be a good one.
The personal ultrasonic Walgreen's model of this 1/2 cup size is $20.

Or just look at the dispenser/medicine cup? If the silver isn't coming
out in the mist, the cup would get heavy plating with the silver left
behind (I think). The cup to mine has been used dozens and dozens of
times over the past couple years, and though it has a little dark
staining, there is just no plating out of silver in it that I can see.
I rinse it with hot water between uses and let it air dry.

I just got back from Walgreens and they have their brand - Personal
UltraSonic Humidifier (continuous operation on one filling is up to 4 hours
and it holds 1/2 cup. It is a little cutie. I got it for a little over $20
so it is probably the same one Heather in Redmond is talking about.
Walgreens also has a 2 gallon size Walgreen brand UltraSonic Humidifier for
$29.99. I didn't get that one because I didn't know how much CS you put in
this size humidifier. Certainly not 2 gallons of CS, or do you? Does
anyone know? I would like to get the larger one as well. This larger one
will run up to 22 hours.

Capture the mist and send it out for testing, or test the way you test your
CS.

I have one of those fogger floating things that make a thick huge plume of
fog when operating in a 10 gallon fish tank. I suspended a bowl above it,
any glass will do, immersed in the fog. As the fog starts to condense on
the outer walls of the bowl it will form droplets and start dripping.
Capture the drips in a suitable container. Test the contents of container.
In my case, I brought the sample over to Ole Bobs house and he tested it for
me. Yes, there is a silver in that fog, same value as what was in the tank.

Respectfully,
Rich Adams

I'm sorry, been away and am catching up on emails, and did try to read the ones
with the same theme.

Just don't understand: why wouldn't just using a spray bottle of CS into the
nose and throat be almost as efficient as a personal nebulizer?

Thanks,

Cindy

The unit I bought is called a personal humidifier not a nebulizer, it is hand
held. Walgreen discontinued stocking it. Richard Harris said he sells this same
unit. He may have a few on stock. The humidifier had alot of problems where it
would quit misting. Walgreen would replace the unit within one year of purchase.

CSnebulizer vs. misting effectiveness was Re: CSTrem..nebulizer.

Has to do with droplet size, which has to do with how deep you get the
substance into the nasal passages and lungs.
Misting is good for stopping bacteria and viruses before they take hold
and begin to multiply, but it is pretty much confined to the doorway of
the sinuses/throat. I have proven this to myself with my chronic URI
rabbit. I have misted him a couple times a day or more, and he does get
some breathed in, but it really doesn't do the job, nebulizing is much
more effective at stopping any increase in his symptoms. With just
misting he started to develop an ear infection, with nebulizing he
doesn't get any ear involvement. Though I have to say I'm not certain
nebulizing alone is even enough. I usually also use ear drops of the
CS-MSM-DMSO mix I use.

Deb,

I went to a Walgreen's in Silverdale, WA a couple of days ago and they told me
that Walgreen's has never had nebulizers on the shelf. They told me to look
online. I did...nothing there. Guess I'm dead in the water.

Dear Trem--The small $20 unit I got from Walgreens (their own brand) is
actually called an ultrasonic humidifier. I would only say that mine has
been unreliable at times, other times its worked well. But when you need
one, you tend to really need it. So if doing it again I'd invest a little
more and get a better unit.

All the best,
DeborahB

You can also get these foggers that use the same device as the ultrasonic
humidifiers. they use these in the fogger fountains. you jsut placre the little
chrome cylinderl in a bowl of water( or CS ) and it makes fog
for only 25 bucks
