beneficial bacteria like an antibiotic would?

Silver kills bacteria good or bad if reached. I had a problem with C-Diff
after back to back major surgeries. My natural therapy doctor (also an MD)
toldme the very best probiotic to help C-Diff is Saccharmomyces Boulardii+Mos.
I can buy it local at the health store or order it from www.I-herb.com.This
probiotic is also non-dairy which works for me since I am allergic to dairy.
This probiotic also helped my dad when he was having problems.

If you take enough and often, you may need to take some probiotics to
repopulate your gut.

I thought silver only killed bad bacteria not good? I thought that was
the benefit of taking it over antibiotics.

Fecal transplants are good for treating c diff.

CS kills all bacteria it comes in contact with. But the only GOOD
bacteria in a person's body are in the colon, where it cannot come in
contact with them, unless you have dysentery, in which case it will come
in them, and they are bad. Whether it kills good or bad bacteria is
based on the environment, silver does not magically know what is good
and what is bad.

Personally I think it depends on what form of EIS/CS is ingested. The so
called CS one purchases from the shop may contain more neutral charged
particles, which may in turn work their way through the system unchanged
resulting in possibly affecting good flora. Home produced EIS/CS is
predominantly Ag+ ions, hence they will not work their way through the system
unchanged, they will combine with other substances within the bodies system
long before they have a chance to affect the good flora.

Were you using CS before you were infected with the C
Diff? Can it not prevent or treat C Diff by itself?

I've read, CS doesn't touch the good gut bacteria, only the bad. We've been on
CS for about 10 years now with absolutely no problems no matter what med we've
had to take. I make my own CS too!

I have lupus, and multiple chemical sensitivity amongst other things. I have
an ongoing problems with a yeast overgrowth in my gut, common in MCS. I also
have severe mold allergies which contributes to a yeast overgrowth my doctor
told me. I'm hoping eventually my allergy serum will help me handle this..but
I continue to take CS in higher amounts now that the mold, yeast, fungus are so
high here and I'm having so many issues. Hopefully the CS will help me clear
my system too! The wonderful thing about CS, is it seems to be safe no matter
what meds you take or what illness you have.

Experiments with bacteria in broth have demonstrated that the symbiotic,
so-called probiotics normally found in the human gut are as easily killed
as pathogens. The normal flora is not killed because the CS is absorbed
high in the system, and is made less effective when in the semisolid and
solid feces.
