CSwarfarin and other blood thinners
Good Morning, I would like to offer a personal experience. Last year I began having some fairly dramatic heart palpatations/arhythmias that were especially troublesome in the early evenings. One person told me that zinc supplements helped this for her and helped eliminate prescription drugs. The question I have relates to nattokinase. As a single product called Nattozime, it is relatively inexpensive. The more complex enzyme product, Rutozyme, it is more costly, with a months supply costing near $ 30.00. Does anyone know of the optimum amount of this material, nattokinase? The study of heparin, normally thought of as a drug, but actually manufactured by the body, is very interesting. Seems the life of heparin is relatively short. This must mean the body is continually making heparin. A google search will turn up many articles. There seems to be no simple answer to proper blood viscosity. All doctors are either brainwashed or spooked. They all recommend a blood thinner. Due to recent heart valve problems, I have observed that the heart is very sensitive to a continuous supply of the proper minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and vitamins. Eating decent food at proper and shorter intervals seems to be essential as well. Any comments or references along these lines would be appreciated. Does anyone know of a list devoted to the heart and nutrients for the heart? I have used the Dr. Christopher Hawthorn berry syrup, and a custom made product that is likely better that the commercially available product. Hawthorn berry capsules are used in addition. After 5 months of devoted use of nutrients and minerals, most of the symptoms of the heart valve abnormality have virtually disappeared. This of course does not mean that a total repair has been implemented. My only option is to continue to study and work hard at learning more about this subject. I would like to offer a personal experience. Last year I began having some fairly dramatic heart palpatations/arhythmias that were especially troublesome in the early evenings. While I have no known heart condition presently, there is heart disease in my maternal lineage, and so I was very interested to read somewhere that hawthorne tincture might help. Got some at the health food store and began taking approx. 3 drops held under the tongue every time the palpatations occurred. At times I would take several doses one after another as I sat watching tv or reading. Over a period of about 6 weeks the palpatations gradually disappeared--so slowly that I hardly realized when they had finally stopped, and they haven't returned. Even with a long personal history of using herbal remedies, this surprised me. I'm not sure it would be indicated for someone with chronic problems however--probably better as a preventative. Re: CSwarfarin
Thanks for that info; I do take Hawthorne Berry Syrup in a formula with Cuyanne Tincture, Motherwort tincture, that I make myself. Half and half with Dr. Shultze's heart formula (tinctured in apple cider vinegar; garlic cloves, and a couple others I have forgotten momentarily. I have a bottle of it at bedside, and if I feel any kind of an episode, I will chug about two tablespoons of it. It does stop almost immediately. But I still wound up in the hospital again for about a week. I'll find some Hawthorne berries and tincture them alone, and try that too - Original Message - From: deborah byron laqueren...@cox-internet.com To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Wednesday, May 25, 2005 11:33 AM Subject: Re: CSwarfarin I would like to offer a personal experience. look into taking flax oil and cottage cheese instead of warfarin it is natural safe blood thinner that is healthy for you, much better than taking rat poison. just a sugestion. - Original Message - From: Day Sutton To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Sunday, May 22, 2005 2:47 PM Subject: CSwarfarin I have been put on coumadin (warfarin) and am looking for ways to wean off of it. Re: CSwarfarin
I don't have too many answers here, but a couple of thoughts... I have been put on coumadin (warfarin) and am looking for ways to wean off of it. I have heard that Nattokinaise might work. Have also been told not to ear ANY leafy green veggies (they contain vit K) no Vit E no Vit C no Ginko Biloba. These have been staples for me for many years. The reason they tell you that is these things (among a lot of other things) can interact with the warfarin. Some have blood-thinning properties of their own, which can greatly compound the blood-thinning effect of the warfarin and make clotting very difficult. Some things which are rich in vitamin K, for example, which promotes blood clotting, would negate the anti-clotting effect of the warfarin, rendering it ineffective. Reason for warfarin is fibrilations. any suggestions or links would be appreciated. Also could this be caused by virus or pathogens of some kind. If so how much EIS would be effective..?? There are a variety of causes for fibrillation. Sometimes it's caused by imbalances in minerals, which can be addressed by diet and supplements of vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, for example. Sometimes it's because there is a problem with the nerve conduction pathways, the nerves are misfiring... in some cases this can be severe enough that an electrophysiologist must 'ablate', or wipe out, the aberrant nerve pathway that is causing it. The warfarin, of course, does nothing to correct the fibrillations. When the atrium fibrillates, blood doesn't flow smoothly through the heart, and clots can form within the heart from the turbulent mixed-up blood flow. If these escape into the body they can cause stroke or death, even. So mainstream medicine uses anticoagulation with warfarin (Coumadin) to decrease the blood's clotting ability, which in turn decreases the likelihood of clot formation. There are other ways to achieve a blood-thinning effect, such as using fish oils... you could do research on natural anticoagulants or natural blood-thinners. Denise
