Re: CSParalyzed vocal cords
Hi Marshall, I'm a Reiki master and with nothing to lose, gave first degree Reiki to a Moluccan Cockatoo whose feet were both paralyzed from an illness at hatching. A week later, one foot began to move and grasp, and soon its function was restored to almost normal. The second foot never came back all the way, but the bird was able to get around with beak and foot, where once, she'd only sat on the bottom of the cage. Reiki doesn't heal anything, but it provides a healing energy that the body can use to heal itself, and sometimes, quite dramatically. It would certainly help the body do whatever it can to normalize circulation and rebuild what is worn or torn. It's a very handy tool to access in conjuntion with other modalities and has contributed greatly in my Lyme recovery. Ask around at local health-food stores, etc. and maybe you'll find a Reiki practitioner or master who could help. Steve Hates homeopathy but you could dowse these remedies Marshall see if any are appropriate: Hypericum (nerve damage) Aconite (shock) Ignatia (never been well since) 30c potency in any of them - I will check to see if there is anything more specific. Hands on healing to increase recuperative energy would help. Is it related to nerve damage or something else? If it is related to nerve damage, this article might get you brain going: http://scientificliving.net/2010/11/20-natural-ways-to-heal-nerve-damage-and-spinal-cord-injuries/ I would try magnets. Biomagscience.net. 4 power wafers and 2 super magnets would be sufficient to do the magnetic therapies I had in mind. Magnets appear to have abiilty to help all sorts of things regenerate. Peter (the magnet guy) has helped regenerate some nerves. If you actually located a damaged nerve, the magnets might be able to be used more specifically than I had in mind. If you want me to describe the actual physical placement of the magnets, I'll do that. There are also some centers called MME (magnetic molecular energizer). They use super high power EMF machines to treat people. : http://www.amri-wa.com/intro.html http://wrightnewsletter.com/2012/05/23/how-mme-can-work-miracles-for-a-host-of-ailments/ http://www.amri-wa.com/ Dr. Wright also related one case of paralyzed man who started walking again after MME. Marshall wrote: Does anyone have any suggestion on getting paralyzed vocal cords working again? My daughter had thyroid cancer, and when they removed her thyroid her vocal cords got paralyzed. I have been searching for any alternative therapies, and have found some Chinese herbs, homeopathic remedies, and maybe electro stimulation. -- Marshall, I have just the thing: the Tennant Biomodulator. This will be somewhat lengthy because I want to make sure I explain it sufficiently. You are completely correct about what you call electro stimulation, because ALL health problems-whether they involve infection, injury or degeneration-are characterized by improper voltage, or in layperson's terms, usually not enough juice or energy in the cell. The Biomodulator addresses a wide range of health problems because it restores voltage to the cells, thus helping to normalize the body's functions. The Biomodulator operates in part as a feedback device. In response to signals from the skin, it produces electronic impulses that help restore cell voltage, using different frequencies and various waveforms. Once you restore voltage to the tissues, the body can heal itself, regardless of whether the problem is pain, swelling, infection, low energy, or even paralysis. Improper voltage can manifest in so many different ways. Low cell voltage goes hand-in-hand with injuries and biochemical imbalances (hormone and nutritional imbalances, presence of toxins), indicating that the cell's normal processes are impaired. Often, inflammation means pain. Sometimes the excess, stagnant fluid around the area is a breeding ground for microbes. Low voltage also means that nutrients cannot cross the cell membrane and wastes cannot leave. If the tissues are drowning in their own waste and cannot receive or utilize nutrients, they cannot perform correctly and eventually degrade. Degradation can ultimately produce lack of sensation, or even paralysis. But once you restore voltage to the tissues, the cellular pump starts working, nutrients enter cells and wastes leave, you get a balanced pH and a higher needed oxygen supply to the tissues. Then, inflammation decreases and the cell metabolizes properly. This leads to optimal cell function, and ultimately optimal tissue function. The phrase electro stimulation has profound implications. Sometimes people think that the Biomodulator is just another TENS unit, a commonplace device on the market that manages pain (TENS is an acronym for Transcutaneous Electro-Nerve Stimulator.) But it's not a valid comparison. The TENS unit controls pain by numbing the nerve fibers that send the pain message to the brain, by flooding and overwhelming the system with amounts of current that are hundreds of times greater than what the body produces on its own. As you know, numbing is not corrective and does nothing to correct the underlying cause of the pain. Nenah - to be continued
Re: CSParalyzed vocal cords (2)
(2 of 2, continued) In contrast, the Biomodulator emits the most minute amounts of current, amounts that replicate what the body itself transmits. Since the Biomodulator mimics a properly functioning body at appropriate voltage levels, it actually helps ++restore++ cell and tissue function rather than simply suppressing symptoms. The biofeedback function of the Biomodulator ensures that each person receives a custom signal, based on his or her own needs. I originally bought the Biomodulator to treat myself for pain and injuries due to an auto accident. I have also used the device to reduce swelling, help relaxation, improve sleep, and speed overall healing. Most pertinent to your daughter, children have been brought out of comas with this device. Over a decade ago, an Australian TV program followed two men whose spinal cords had been severed in accidents. One was a quadriplegic and the other, paraplegic. After using a device similar to a Biomodulator for a few months, the paraplegic was walking (with assistance) and the quadriplegic could use his arms and hands. I remember a friend who had a horse that stepped on her hand. She was about to have surgery on her wrist-but after a few sessions, she healed sufficiently and cancelled the surgery. After that, I met a young woman who had been injured as a child in a car accident. Her femur jutted out of her leg at a 90 degree angle. Doctors wanted to amputate but her parents wouldn't let them, so the bone was repositioned and she went home. For 12 years, she had no sensation in her knee and surrounding tissues, even though she could walk. But after just three 1-1/2 hour sessions with me, sensation was restored in her knee. She and I were both astonished; but, I remind myself, if the cells have enough voltage, healing can occur. I discuss the principles of electrical stimulation in Healing with Electromedicine and Sound Therapies, which you can download for free at http://www.nenahsylver.com/free-electromedicine-article.html . Originally published as a multi-part essay in Townsend Letter and Nexus and later translated into Korean, it became Appendix C of my Rife Handbook. The paper describes the principles of electrotherapies in general and the Biomodulator (and other modalities, such as Rife technology, lasers, and LEDs) in particular. By the way, scientists now know that when the electromagnetic (EM) signature changes, it affects the biochemistry; and that biochemistry changes in turn affect the EM signature. However, EM emanations and voltage changes from cells always precede chemical processes, especially in the case of degenerative conditions (as opposed to sudden-onset accidents). This is why it's so important to focus on restoring voltage to the body! Marshall, I will send literature to you privately. Feel free to contact me off-list if you have any questions. I'll also be happy to speak to you by phone. I only regret that I didn't know about this sooner; we may have been able to save your daughter's thyroid gland. Re: CSParalyzed vocal cords
You might look into castor oil packs. Don't take castor oil internally but it might do some good applied to the neck area. Also, DMSO. DMSO has been known to reverse stroke damage and spinal cord injuries. Read the book 'DMSO, Nature's Healer' by Dr. Morton Walker. A good quality DMSO can be swallowed, gargled (diluted with distilled water) .. also can be given intravenously if you can find a doctor willing to do so. Also the magnets David recommended are fabulous. I had paralyzed vocal chords after surgery as a result of some rough treatment from the anesthesiologist. It took more than a year for my voice to get above a whisper. That was five yrs ago and most days I sound totally normal but... then again, some days my voice is weak and raspy. I used the castor oil packs more than anything else and the magnets. But.. I think I just had nerve trauma damage.I am so sorry your daughter is having to go thru this but.. I am praying for her and for you that you may find some help for her. Marshall, I would think acupuncture might be worth a shot. It has the ability to stimulate nerve function as well as the function of the vocal cords themselves. Several treatments would be necessary though... nerves regenerate very slowly.
