RE: CS>QUESTION; Treatment for Subclinical Hypothyrodism
>Sounds like another made up diagnosis to me.< No, it's not, not trying to be argumentative here, but subclinical simply means it's not really bad enough to require clinical intervention. In other words, you got it but you're still functioning pretty normally. One of the first signs of hypothyroidism is waking up cold, no matter the room temp, nightclothes and bedcovers. I had it bad several years ago. Waking up cold means waking up in a knotted up state and that compounds any arthritic problems. From the first time I ever took Laminaria Digitata Kelp, that never happened to me again. The wife and I seem to be beating our (self-diagnosed) thyroid problems. We have not seen doctors for this. We're not going to. They have one of two cures, animal thyroid powders and synthetic hormones, especially the latter. We're definitely not doing the latter. We are beating our problems with Kelp, Magnascent Iodine, many forms of magnesium, avoiding municipal water and now the latest, we're cutting out black and green teas because of the fluoride content. We've had a lot of good things to happen lately. Daddybob -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Re: CS>QUESTION; Treatment for Subclinical Hypothyrodism
You might look and see if taking Iodine might help. There are other minerals that can take the place of iodine and cause this, due to not enough iodine. limiting these and supplementing the iodine would help if this is the case. There have been several discussions here in the past about this. Other elements that can replce iodine and possibly interfere with the thyroid include: fluorine, chlorine, & bromine. These are common additions to the modern life, F & Cl in tap water, and Br in soda pop and other snack "foods". There are other things that can cause low thyroid symptoms, such as biotoxin poisoning, which can be from various sources. It is possible that other kinds of low level chemical pollution could have that effect. Of course, low level radiation exposure can kill off the thyroid gland too. So it seems to me that some detective work might help quantify your problem. Checking into your food and water might be a good place to start. And then if needed, adding iodized salt, maybe some kelp tablets, or iodine pills to the water, or even just painting some iodine tincture on your skin could help. For more information on fluoride, Google it. Fluoride is poison. (Hi Ode). Sounds like another made up diagnosis to me. I would really do your homework on that , I think once you start taking that crap you are stuck on it for life, just like the pharma-nazis want you to be. What kind of symptoms are you having?? Thier medicine will only treat symptoms, never the cause.
