Hi Reid and Catherine,

What do you find ambiguous about:

"As an antibiotic, colloidal silver kills over 650 disease
causing organisms, and resistant strains fail to develop."

or

"An antibiotic kills perhaps a half-dozen different
disease organisms, but silver kills some 650."

Dear Jack,

What is ambiguous (uncertain) is the accuracy of the statement
until the studies are found where CS was effective in rendering
a total of 650 disease-causing organisms inert. There's no credibility
in using figures with no citation of actual proof to go along with them.
That's setting a trap for yourself.

I write a monthly newsletter on non-conventional healing for conventional
doctors. I have met with some success because I don't say anything that
has not been demonstrated under stringent conditions. If I were to write
that CS kills 650 pathogens without giving original citations, my
subscribers
would unsubscribe.

One of the beauties of this list is that people have no problem getting
right down to the science of things, unlike most other lists. Just ask
Kevin Nolan ;-)

Catherine

Uses
As stated above, Colloidal Silver is lethal to over 650 types of bacteria,
viruses, fungi, parasites, and molds. However, it is completely non-toxic to
the human body. For several decades, silver has proven itself in the
treatment of burns, and eye, ear, nose, throat, vaginal, rectal, and urinary
tract infections. Silver has been prescribed as an adjunct treatment for
reproductive disorders in women and the circulatory system, as well as a
treatment for AIDS infective complications. It has been used as a remedy for
allergies, boils, ulcers, leisons, thyroid conditions, infantile diseases,
parasites, wounds of the cornea, enlarged prostate, warts, bladder
inflammation, infections of the eustachian tubes, sleepwalking and anorexia
nervosa. Colloidal silver also acts as a tissue regenerator by stimulating
the production of de-differentiating cells, which promotes the replacement
of specialized cells.

The following is only a partial list of the more than 650 disease conditions
for which colloidal silver has demonstrated proven clinical amelioration:

Acne
Anthrax Bacilli
Arthritis
Athlete's Foot
Blood Poisoning
Bubonic
Cancer
Candidiasis
Cholera
Chronic Fatigue
Colitis
Conjunctivitis
Cystitis
Dermatitis
Diabetes
Diptheria Dysentery
Eczema

Ringworm
Rosacea Scarlet Fever
Seborrhea
Septicemia
Shingles
Skin Cancer
Staph Infection
Stomach Flu
Strep
Syphilis
Tonsillitis
Toxemia
Trenchfoot
Tuberculosis
Whooping Cough

For your pets, Colloidal Silver can clear up cases of ulcerative and
infective skin conditions due to flea infestation, mange, dermatitis, etc.
It has proven to be effective against canine parvo virus, feline leukemia,
and ringworm.

A Brief History
The properties of silver have been known for thousands of years. Throughout
the ages, silver was the hidden ingredient utilized by knowledgeable healers
to fight any type of infection. It was not until the late 1800's that
Western scientists were able to prove what had been known in other
civilizations for thousands of years--that silver was a proven germ fighter!

WHAT OTHER USES ARE THERE FOR COLLOIDAL SILVER?
Tests prove, due to the high absorption of silver in the small intestine,
the friendly bacteria in the large intestine are not affected. All
bacterial, viral and fungal organisms are killed within 6 minutes of
contact. Higher silver content in the body causes faster and more frequent
contact with these organisms. No disease causing organism can live in the
presence of simple silver. The following is a partial list of the more than
650 diseases that Colloidal Silver has been successfully used against.

Acne
 Arthritis
 Athlete's Foot
 Toxemia
 Blood Poisoning

Burns
 Cancer
 Parvovirus
 Conjunctivitis
 Dermatitis

Diabetes
 Dysentry
 Excema
 Fibrositis
 Gastritis

Gonorrhea
 Impetigo

Hi Catherine,
I think you might have missed something at the
beginning of the discussion about 650.

I didn't SAY:
"As an antibiotic, colloidal silver kills over 650 disease
causing organisms, and resistant strains fail to develop."
that was a quote from the source I posted.

I am the one who originally questioned the validity of
the number without any support for it!

UCLA tested pathogenic microbes in vitro(in glass) not invivo(Inthe

Much money to do double blind studies on humans with 650 pathogenic

I had read somewhere several years ago that the 650 is the number of
pathogens that CS was reported to kill prior to 1938 by as reported in old
medical journals. But I have been unable to find that since.

I doubt if they were doing clinical and double blind in vivo studies in
1938.

Nope, at that time the doctors used what they found worked. If you want
double blind studies to determine that something works, then aspirin does
not work either for pain relief. The only double blind studies done on it I
believe are for prevention of heart attacks. They didn't do double blind
studies on anything back then as far as I can tell.

It might be added that killing 650 disease organisms does not mean 'cures
650 diseases'. The human body is much more complex than a petrie dish.
