I would not wash with hot water. I would rinse with distilled water before
making the next batch. Perhaps some of the older list members will have more
ideas.

Hi,
I bought a silver generator --Silver Gen several months ago and all was
fine until my last batch of silver.
I saw there were several white dots about 1/16 of an inch on the bottom of each
jar. There was also a whitish cast on the bottom.
The jar had a yellowish-greenish cast which it did not use to have. Before it
was clear.

Silver Gen spokesperson was very reassuring that it was safe. But it
should
be clear and to rinse the jars in hot water and make a new batch. Well the dots
do not rinse out. Even after soaking for several hours. Also was suggested to
try a different distilled water. I buy my from the local grocery store Meijers
and have always bought them there. So why the change?

Any suggestion on what is going on would be appreciated.
Thanks, Sandy

You can take a brand new brush and rub the silver plating off. It won't take
much effort. Then save the brush for the future if you have to do it again.

It happens to me every so often and is not a big deal. It is impossible to
keep things in the air from getting into a jar of water and there are other
variables as well. Again is not something to worry about. Clean it out and
move on. It just a bit of waste of silver is all.

I make my own distilled water. That way I am not a the mercy of plastic jugs
and other factors. It's not hard and the distillers aren't too expensive.

We sometimes tell a person that has trouble getting the PPM high enough
or if the unit doesn't shut off that setting the dial a bit lower than
HIGH will allow it to shut off instead of continuing to run which keeps
adding silver to the water. It's impassible to "break" the machine.
It's "bulletproof". Please don't shoot it as a test!

This is what i was told when i called silvergen's office. That i am not to turn it all the way up to the max or i'll break the machine. I called then for low ppm even at max setting.

I have used the Silvergen on the max setting many times without breaking it
