Re: CSArthritis

2012-05-28 Thread Guyot Léna

Hi Asif,
I've got Lyme disease, which, of course, manifests symptoms of
arthritis. Whenever I eat things that cause sensitivities (like
nightshade or citrus) I find that Alka-Seltzer Gold (can be found at
amazon) can neutralize the acidity that contributed to the pain.

Topically, I apply DMSO, quickly followed by shea butter or aloe (DMSO
is very drying to the skin) and it's pretty impressive at reducing
pain in the area. Another good roll-on (I get the bottles from eBay,
is Brokk's mix, which is 75% CS, 15% glycerine, and 10% DMSO. I keep
it handy, even in a perfume-sized roll-on in my purse and apply to
painful joints. It really helps.

One particular pinkie finger, however, didn't respond much to these
treatments, so I started taking tart cherry, which is helpful to gout,
and that seemed to resolve that pain.

Also, personal experience: Reiki is wonderful for melting away pain.
See if you can find a practitioner, or even become attuned to Reiki so
you can practice it yourself. It's warm, relaxing, helps circulation,
somehow reduces inflammation, and has made my recovery SO much
more comfortable.

Be well,
Léna

Hi silver list,
I wonder if you you guys have any good treatments for arthritis in the
joints. Knees and fingers especially.
The person has been taking around 10ml of 15ppm silver once a day and
reports its helps.
The person is being put on increased painkillers for this condition
which has its own side effects .

So I seek the wisdom of the usually very helpful people here.
Thank you.
Peace to all.
Asif.

Re: CS Anti-inflammatory Lemonde

Hi Harold,
This sounds great! Would xylitol work (for those who hate stevia)?

CSCS, and CS/DMSO helped Lyme uveitis

2010-02-17 Thread Guyot Léna
I've made my own CS (Silver Puppy) and used it in a number of ways
for quite a while. I tried it for Lyme-caused dry-eye that plagued me
for a long time and it cleared it up for months at a time. In the
dryness of winter, though, I had to use it more frequently.
A month ago, I had a sudden flare of Lyme uveitis, and though the CS
soothed it, I feared that it might not reach the infection within the
eye itself. I added a little DMSO to drive the CS in and in three
days, the scarlet sclera, the pain-pressure to the touch in the
affected eyeball, all cleared up. I stopped the drops a little too
soon, however, because a week later it flared again. This time, I
kept them up for longer, and today, when I saw the opthamologist, he
didn't recoil in horror at what I'd done, but said that my eyes were
now calm, clear, and that this remedy had obviously worked!

Be well,
Léna
