Add a long tail moment with a full-flying stab above the downwash then slave it to spoiler to maintain attitude. Hello spot landings:) I had a 2T by HOB that I put spoilers on the flat center section that deploying the spoilers would make it do an outside loop! I have a picture of it on my web site if you want to see it. I think you'll find that you want to keep the spoilers OUTSIDE of the stabs, whether a "T", "V", or conventional stab. [RCSE] Low price fully programmable radio
Hello everyone, I'm looking for a radio to buy for a very good friend of mine. I want to find a radio that does EVERYTHING for a full house glider with all the mixing a glider of that type needs like crow, snapflaps, butterfly but I don't want to spend a fortune. Any recommendations would be appreciated. _ Do You Yahoo!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. [RCSE] Winch Stuff
As much for my own curiosity as anything, I would like to get the following information for anyone using a Ford long shaft winch: Which motor (3110-6v, 3115-12v, ...) winch Line (type/test/length to turnaround) Drum Size: Battery Size Real Balls? Type of Sailplanes launched (Molded, Composite, Buildup, all of the above) Use retriever? Please indicate if this is a club winch (club name to avoid duplicates) If possible, I will try to summarize the results and post on the exchange. Bob Rice Rocky Mountain Soaring Assn. Re: [RCSE] first computer radio
The Airtronics RD6000 allows you to switch from one program to another in the air by the flip of a switch. This feature allows you to try out a modified program in the air at a safe altitude. Even more important, it allows you to put different flight modes on each of the switchable programs, effectively doubling the number of preset and programable mixes available. In some ways this makes it more versitile than many radios costing two or three times as much. If that isn't enough, it is also one of the easiest radios to program. The only possible incompatibilities are the polarity of the modulation which might not agree with your Hitech receivers and the servo plugs on your older Airtronics servos. There are adapter cables to solve the latter incompatibility. Regards, Ollie Hi guys, I am looking to get my first computer radio and I am considering which might be the best. As all of my receivers and servos are set for airtronics or hitec. I am considering the airtronics RD 6000 and the Multiplex cockpit MM series. I fly floaters and electric gliders . Rich's E-mail address is elegantly simple. [EMAIL PROTECTED] My vote is for 1 rule. 3 servos. That's it! Whatever can be done with 3 servos, do it! That condenses the class name down to 3S, too!
