[RCSE] KLINGBERG FLING THING
Yah! I know quite well that the Klingberg Fling Thing is one of the last Mohicans of the RCHLG oldies--1994; just goes to show how fast things have changed. I felt sorry for my ole'hobby shop man and took it off his shelf to help him out. Any idea what the airfoil on it is!!?? It ain't thin--Eppler 205 !!?? With two spars on the leading edge it looks like a well turbulated wing in addition to having two dihedral breaks after the center break for a neat looking wing. I would be considering dropping the tip down and building it as a DHL--and adding a sub rudder. Now another alternative would be to unload it to one of you collectors out there--I couldn't be adverse to that; I do have other projects on hand :-) !! However, I do like to build--you know birds with ribs and spars that emerge from clouds of balsa dust with see through wings . . . :-) Paul Clark, SKY PILOT ONE, Osaka, Japan(AMA # 53 777 1) http://www.kcat.zaq.ne.jp/skypilot/ SKY PILOT'S HANGAR--RCHLG AFICIONADO RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Re: [RCSE] Fwd: help with a configuration on an XP662 JR radio
What's the problem? I have a 642, and to use separate servos for ailerons, you have to enter the setup mode by holding both program buttons down while turning on the radio, and then select 'flaperons' I think. Then plug one aileron into the aileron and one into the flap (ch6) and it should work. The manual is pretty helpful and will tell you which servo (left/right) is which. .bc([EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.widomaker.com/~conk Williamsburg, VA 23185 On Thu, 3 Oct 2002 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: In a message dated 10/3/2002 07:59:17 PM Eastern Daylight Time, SilverstineRandy writes: Dear Sir; I have an aileron electric sailplane with seperate servos servicing each aileron. [RCSE] Tips for building EPP planes
I have only built one EPP plane, a Ruffneck several years ago. Received a couple of JW's yesterday and read the instructions thoroughly, but wonder if anyone would have any tips they would like to share? To be more specific; radio installation, taping, or hinging. Thank you, Bill Kuhl RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. [RCSE] If you are an AMA CD read this
You just had $30 removed from your pocket. AMA now is only offering 50% dues instead of 100% for your work as a CD. This was a unanimous vote by the council. Check last council minutes on AMA web page. Problem here is you probably put sanctions in early this year thinking you would be earning dues for 2003. This sounds like a breach of contract to me. If they want to do this it should apply to 2004. This is like contracting for a certain wage and when the job is done reduce wage by 50%. If you care, send email to your council member. Email addresses are on AMA web page. Cal Posthuma AMA CD

[RCSE] Virus Email with soaring related message
I received an apparent soaring related email with an attachment January 12 Jeff letter.doc.pif, the name being an attempt to disguise the fact that it was a windows program, not a document, or program information file (batch file). Windows would have run this program as a .pif file is the equivalent of a shortcut. The reply address shows Helena Litwak, but the the message header indicates that a granger mail earthlink net was the real sender. Message content was: I recommend the following websites for info on which beginner plane to buy: http://msinow.com/rc/ http://www.fatlion.com/index.html They were bot RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Rule to winning, Divide and Conquer. Next will be some SIG, or maybe even the life-timers getting half-life membership. [RCSE] DLG
How about some recommendations from the group for a DLG that won't break the bank. I'd like to get out of javelin launching but have a very limited budget. __ Do you Yahoo!? RE: [RCSE] anybody order a Sharon tip
I don't know about larger and more effective, but the Sharon Pro is currently available with a conventional tail, two of the ones coming in next week are thus. All are sold. Lead times are down to about 6 weeks now since this flying season is coming to a close, if you want a Sharon or Space, do not wait until Spring to order one. Since they did well at the worlds they are very popular. I heard a rumor that the Sharon Pro would be updated to include a larger, more effective X tail. Do you have any news on this or any other Sharon Pro updates?
