[RCSE] 3M77 tip

2003-11-18 Thread Harley Michaelis

You are supposed to invert the can after spraying
to clear out the nozzle. I estimates this wastes 2/3 of the can. Rather than
blowing out the nozzle, drop it in a container with Goo Gone in it. When you are
ready to spray again, stick it back on the can. It will promptly
spray.

[RCSE] What should I do??

2003-11-18 Thread gldr guy
Hello all. Due to buying a new EVO12, another FS01 Compulsion, the upcoming
holidays, etc, I may have to sell
one of two planes, either a Sharon 3.7 Pro Vtail or a Eraser Extreme Xtail.
I really like them both, but if I cant swing it one of em may have to go. Which would
you all choose to keep?
Remember this isnt a for sale ad, I very well may go to
the savings to keep em both, just mulling things over right now.
Thanks, Walter

RE: [RCSE] Gordy something, Paragon Canopy

2003-11-18 Thread Douglas, Brent
Hi Jack,

I called Ed Sloboda at Pierce Aero, and he had me a canopy in a couple
weeks... It's not the fastest path, but it was the only way I could get my
hands on one - maybe 8 bucks.

I have this as his number: (818) 349-4758.

Also, he's a great guy - I found myself talking Nostalgia ships for a good
(and I mean GOOD) half hour after placing my order.

Good luck (from another proud Paragon flier),

Brent

[RCSE] Re: wing rod - - ejector pins

2003-11-18 Thread Phavriluk

I noticed a comment about ejector pins being used as wingrods.  I made up a bunch of them, they're inexpensive, beautifully finished, and don't want to bend.   They will certainly break.   Want to see the one I broke in half during a 'dramatic arrival' with my quasoar?  I keep the pieces around as a conversation-starter.  And the wings were unmarked.  The rod just didn't want to know about bending.  But ejector pins are inexpensive and will certainly take any airloads I can give them.

"PARAGONS FOREVER"

As most of you know, I have flown Paragons continuously since my first one
over 30 years ago (bought it at the Toledo show the first year they were
offered).

So this is my battle cry at every contest that I use this plane. Mine is now
going through a rebuild (retriever malfunction) and should be ready soon.
BTW, anyone have a canopy they would like to sell? Ray does not have any
extras at his store.

I may switch to a Maestro MK III for the Nats this year if I get it built
(same story for the last three years).
