Re: [RCSE] Masters
Looks like it's gonna be a fun group. Those of you who don't have a motel reservation yet might want to get on the stick. There's a football game or some such foolishness in Muncie the same weekend and rooms are already filled at a lot of the area hotels. happy trails - Rob G Check out AOL.com today. Breaking news, video search, pictures, email and IM. All on demand. Always Free.
RE: [RCSE] Masters
This is the only place I could find that had non-smoking rooms for that weekend. I have no idea what they are like but it is a roof over your head. Best Value INN (765) 288-1911 3400 S. [RCSE] "Gordy's Northeast Next weekend! Let's hear the contests calendars!"
Hi guys, Likely I will be working in NJ Monday morning...won't know till middle of this week I guess, but am definitely mobile :-) Might even be able to fly somewhere on that side of the street in a Mooney if I can con Joe Melchoir into landing in a Walmart parking lot to pick me up for a weekend of soaring ;-) Hope to see you guys...for some soaring! Gordy
[RCSE] Went Supra flying today
Took it out for the first time today in 8-10mph winds. Launched with my monster hi-start but only needed 25# to go straight up. This is my third aileron ship. First was an Artemis and second Tempest. This plane flies like a trainer. Very little thermal activity but got one flight of 14min+ by keeping it over a tree line. Landings were s l o w almost vertical with the wind. I must have had too much rudder aileron mix as as soon as I gave it some aileron the nose dropped. So, I dialed out most of the mix and it flew great. Rudder is very effective. Can hardly wait to get back out Sunday afternoon. Feel like a little kid with a new toy. Come to think of it, the only difference between men and boys is price of toys. How true.
