RE: [RCSE] Four flight modes for Stylus
Thank You Steve I'll give it a try. I wanted to avoid using the alternate if all possible. [RCSE] Davenport Thanks
A big thanks to all the workers and sponsors of the ISR 2002 MOM Race. I would especially like to thank Craig Toutolmin and Barry Baskin for putting it all together. For the running of the event I would like to thank Gavin the CD (and everyone else that sat in the chair when Gavin couldn't) and DAnn Thompson for running the flight line, she pushed the pilots though the rounds in a very effective and efficient manner, plus all the turn judges, lap counters and timers without them the race would not of happened. For the flying a special thanks to Gavin for doing a wonderful job in calling for me (not one cut) especially in the round that really counted the flight against Tom Copp I can't remember when I have been that nervous especially when holding a tranny. The other guy that made it all happen is Craig Toutolmin fairly new to man on man but a very good thumb and a great caller, you know that guy that had the F3F world record for a while. So any of you guys that need a caller for next year, the guy that really knows the length of the course just ask for Craig I'm sure he will be more than happy to help you. There was allot of new pilots that I haven't seen before that are very good the competition is getting better and better each year it was also nice to see one of the best out there that I haven't seen in a long time which is Tomas Pills. On Sat Tomas was nailing the turns he was all the way through the turn on the way back when the light would go off its to bad that he had the midair and choose not to repair his plane for Sunday flying, hopefully he will return next year it was good seeing him again and racing against him he was definitely the man to beat. All in all it was the best and smoothest run slope race that I have been to that I can remember and the lift was great hope to see some more new pilots out there next year. About the CARNAGE I think that it has already been discussed I personally think that as much flying that we did it was very low to almost none I even lost a Y2K do to the dumb thumb (pulled a little to hard at the far end with a plane that I had never flown at eleven lbs before). Thanks again Darrell Z. P.S. Another Thanks to all the sponsers and workers they did a wonderful job
