PART III.  AUTHORIZATIONS.

2. ALL PART 91 IFR/VFR OPERATIONS ARE AUTHORIZED IN HAWAIIAN
   AIRSPACE OUTSIDE "ENHANCED CLASS B AIRSPACE".
3. WITHIN "ENHANCED CLASS B AIRSPACE," ALL MILITARY,MEDIVAC,
   RESCUE/RECOVERY,FIRE FIGHTING, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND EMERGENCY
   EVACUATION AIRCRAFT CAN CONDUCT IFR OR VFR OPERATIONS USING AN
   ATC-ASSIGNED DISCRETE BEACON CODE.
4. FOR MILITARY AIRCRAFT OPERATING VFR UNDER PART 91 OUTSIDE
   "ENHANCED CLASS B AIRSPACE", AN ATC-ASSIGNED DISCRETE BEACON
   CODE IS NOT REQUIRED.
5. COMMERCIAL SPACE OPERATIONS ARE AUTHORIZED AND MUST BE APPROVED
   IN ACCORDANCE WITH ESTABLISHED PROCEDURES.

  12. WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS.

You'll need a VFR chart to determine if you are within the lateral limits of Class B 
airspace (terminal airspace surrounding large airports). I've never seen any reference 
to R/C aircraft in any Part 91 regulations, but if this is a concern, check with the 
local FAA FSDO, phone number available at 1.800.WXBRIEF.

[RCSE] Re: Soaring V1 #1252

Paul,
You can spray the film from the outside, but what works best is to spray the underside 
of the film before application, so it doesn't get scratched up. I've also sprayed
the balsa structure itself to give different colors top and bottom, though it's not as 
effective as coloring larger areas of the covering. I used transparent monokote
just on the bottom-centert and ips of my Elipstik 460 and it helps orientation quite a 
bit, and looks great - very buggy!

I have a small Electric A/C covered with mylar film.
The Clear covering over balsa frame looks way cool.
But Clear is hard to stay oriented.

Can I lightly spray paint some stripes over mylar covering?
