[RCSE] Twinstar question..w/apologies
I know the twinstar is not a sailplane, so please forgive this question.(Its Christmastime, remember) I cant seem to get the velcro to stay put (that I use to secure the battery). The battery pack gets hot upon discharge and the velcro comes loose from the fuselage because the glue gets soft. Ive tried using epoxy, it let loose too. I also tried a little Goop (Big mistake, it melts the foam). Any ideas, this is important to my C/G to say nothing of inverted flight. Thanks, and apologies for the off topic Q, but I find more good advice on modeling here than anywhere else. RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. [RCSE] Mentoe HLG towhook question
I am putting together a Mentor hlg to take with me to the HLG clinic at SULA field next week. I really dont have the strength to throw like some of the guys do (spinal cord injury); so I would like to install a towhook to use a light-duty bungee with. Does anyone know where I should place it and how I should atach it? Actually, I need to know if this is an o.k. idea. Tom from Paso RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. [RCSE] Boomerang; Zagi or Razor
Hey; Have any of you guys checked out the Razor from FMA. This plane of theirs is injection molded from the same foam they make car dasboards from. It is supposed to be quite a bit more durable than EPP. Also, you dont have to shape or cover it. You can get them in slope, speed 400 or 600 electric as well. I ordered 2 speed 400...we,ll see. Sounds promising though. Tom from Paso RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News. Send "subscribe" and "unsubscribe" requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
