[RCSE] Can't seem to unsubscribe

2005-07-11 Thread DocData757
I sent in the 'unsubscribe' email and got a single reply saying a
confirmation email was being sent to me email address of record. I
didn't get the second email and can not therefore confirm. I suspect a
change in my email address that I made about a year ago is the issue.
However, I am continuing to get the digests sent to my current email so
I don't understand why the confirmation email would not have done the
same.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Dave

[RCSE] FS: RAM Altimeter System

2005-03-06 Thread docdata757

I have a RAM Altimeter which has worked flawlessly. I have used it
to measure several winch launched and LMR sailplanes and feel I have
got out of it what I wanted it for. It is in PERFECT working order.

I'm selling it and all the cables for $45 (which is half of
it's list price of $89) plus $6 for shipping.

You can download the latest software and instruction booklet at
their website (http://www.soaringcircuits.com/).

Thanks,
Dave

[RCSE] FS: Stratos fuze, stab sleeves

2005-03-03 Thread docdata757

I'm selling the TD fuselage for the Stratos SL TD sailplane. It has
an X-Tail and the stab as well as fuze/stab sleeves are included.
The elevator servo is a JR DS 368 digital. The rudder servo is a
HS85MG. Also included is a 2000 mah NiMH Rx battery pack, the switch
and charging harness and 2 uinstalled ballast tubes.

Below are links to photos. The condition is almost perfect. There is
a little scuffing under the nose from normal landings. This has
NEVER been crashed or even landed hard. I am keeping the wing for
use on my Stratos SLe fuselage.

Items for sale...

The RX shown is not included.

Contacted Dieter at Shred Air and he quoted $275 for the fuze, $100
for the stab and $25 for the sleeves by special order. That's $400
list without including the servos and battery pack!

$325 shipped anywhere in the continental US.

Thanks,
Dave

[RCSE] FS: Compulsion

2005-03-03 Thread docdata757

I'm selling my Compulsion, reluctantly but its the right thing to do.

It has a 123 SD7037 wing and is an absolute gem in the air!
Included are all the servos and the battery pack. Add your RX and go
fly.

It has 2 JR321 servos for rudder and elevator, 2 JR 341's for
ailerons and 2 JR DS 368 digitals for the flaps. Also include is the
Rx pack and a Hoopes harness. Wings are plug in with no messing with
any connections! I'lll send the heavy wing rod too that is used to
balast the plane. It has a light aluminum wing rod for normal use.

Now, this plane has been flow a lot. The fuze had some traditional
stress cracking just ahead of the leading edge of the wing which I
wrapped with strapping tape. Flight characteristics were never
compromised.

Here are some links to the full aircraft...

Here is a link showing the tape wrapping of the area I was talking
about...

New, and it is not, all this went for about $970.

I am selling this for $500 shipped anywhere in the continental US.

Thanks,
Dave

Here's an interesting alternative if you just need to store the
wings...

These bags, some of which are padded, are for snowboards (single
compartment) so you'd have to come up with your own wing panel
seperator/cushion but that shouldn't be difficult (foam, bubble wrap,
etc.) Some are 165 cm (64) and others are 180 cm (70). The price
is definitely right!

Just a idea.

How did you manage that? The reason I ask is I've flown both, always
full pedal and never had a problem. Yet, a club member lost his
Compulsion this past weekend due to a wing failure during launch
too. Very odd!

What's the difference in what you are offering and what you can get
on the market as a 'egg crate' mattress pad? Example...
http://www.domesticbin.com/IBS/SimpleCat/Product/asp/product-
id/63488.html

I can get one that will cover a twin size bed (39x75) for $9.99.
Is there a difference?
