[RCSE] NATS Entry Forms/Schedule

2004-12-07 Thread Tom Kallevang
Yes, this is earlier than we all expected, Lonee Estep is getting off
to quick start. There are a couple of errors on the entry form on the
AMA website. I have requested the changes, but I do have an edited
.pdf version available at:

http://www.silentflight.org/NATS2005/Nats2005.html

Click on the Nats Registration Packet link or wait a day or so and get
a corrected copy from AMA (I'll post the update on the LSF site as
well).

F3B is a typo, it is indeed an F3J year, and we are allowing 4 entries
per frequency in F3J only to spur pilots to fly together as teams. The
entry fee is $35 like the other two day events. There's an extra line
between Sat/Sun and Mon, with a $25 tag ... ignore that, it's a cut and
paste orphan from morphing the form from last year to 2005.

The schedule has shifted to a Friday to Friday week. The Executive
Council mandated a compression of the Nats schedule. They took some
practice days away from some groups, split frequencies among different
R/C events to run concurrently ... Soaring retains its 8 days, just
offset a day earlier. As a result, the schedule was changed only by
shifting HLG to Friday from Monday. This minimal change should allow
us to evaluate how the shift may affect our attendance.

Watch the page above for updates.

Well you can not get a good cheese steak in California either, that's
for sure. Pat's or Geno's in South Philly, for you purists. And if you
don't get it with Cheez wiz, you're a foreigner. mit or mitout onions
your option.

I vote for F3b.

Just read through the entry pack, which mentions J instead of B for the

Also it would appear we can send entry forms imediately as there is
nothing indicating a start date for entries.

I just noticed that the NATS entry forms are available for download at the
AMA site. Seems REALLY early, but oh well. You can get them along with other
NATS info here:

Re: [RCSE] NATS Entry

2004-12-06 Thread Craig Greening
Entry form says:
Hand Launch, Friday July 22
F3B, Saturday July 23 and Sunday July 24
2 Meter, Monday July 25 and Tuesday July 26
Unlimited, Wednesday July 27 and Thursday July 28.
Maybe the F3B thing is a typo, I though it was a J year.

Re: [RCSE] Nats entry forms are in the mail

2004-01-16 Thread Jack Strother
Joe,
The AMA is supposed to put the forms on their web site.
According to Steve Kaluf;
You can call The Competition Department at the AMA,
You can get the phone number from the website.
Amy or Steve Kaluf, will be happy to send a package to you .
If you have been to the Nats in the Last 2 years.. You will be receiving a
package.

The New LSF admin may put them up on the LSF site..in due time.

Hope this helps !!
Jack
PS, I have copied RCSE on this for others as well

Hi Jack,

How can I get more information on competing in the Nats? Applications?
Fees? Pre-requisites? etc.
The AMA web site only shows a calendar of events, no details.

Thanks,

Joe

Re: [RCSE] Nats entry - Where are the forms?

2002-04-01 Thread Jack Strother

Hi Kevin,
Call the AMA, ask for RANDA, or Steve Kaluf, ask them to send you a forms
package.
As Far as the LSF site, the AMA has asked us to provide only a link, and
that they would post access to the forms at the link that they gave us..
Best of luck
Jack Strother

As a NATS newbie, where do you get the forms? I saw the link from the LSF
site but I didn't see any forms on the AMA's site, I even cruised around
the document area of modelaircraft.org.

Thanks,

Kevin
