I thought that was included in the last one. I remember seeing several planes

[RCSE] Soaring Masters 2008- MOM

2007-12-13 Thread davidhauch

better yet.

you could run two standard winches with handsfree retrievers.

you could put two new guys on the course as soon as other two finished.

how fun would this be after a day of flying at the Nats. or Soar Masters.
you could throw a quarter in a can for each run you take, come
up with some way to bracket and score, and winner gets the can of $.

Jack, i'll run you for pink slips. :-)

I think a cool MOM speed task would be, have two guys launch at
the same time to the horn, one on the left course, the other on the right
course.

run the standard f3b 4 legs, and first one crosses the line wins,
just like drag racing.

you could do 6 legs with f3j planes to keep the speeds down.

Yea,
That would be tits !!
a MOM distance task and
a MOM speed task

That will seperate the boys from the heavy testicles

Maybe distance and speed could be an evening task set? Oh, that sounds
fun!

Looking forward to a great soaring contest in September. I am sure that
some will view this as just some east coast contest too, eh Chris?

Proud of the great soaring events held in the Ohio Valley!

All,

Since LJ brought it up please mark your calendar for Sept 18-21, 2008 for
the 2nd World Soaring Masters. It is on the official IAC calendar.

http://www.modelaircraft.org/events/nats/Calendar/wc092008.htm
Setup/practice day is the 18th and the MOM starts on Friday morning.
Sunday morning wraps up the MOM with the fly-offs for the cash beginning
around lunch time.

We are still in the early planning stages for the '08 event, but in
addition to the top spot payouts Horizon Hobby will be offering a mid-pack
fly-off for Big $'s (amount TBD).

So get ready because this will be bigger then the '06 event.

DVDe's,

Sunday
morning wraps up the MOM with the fly-offs for the cash beginning around
lunch time.

We are still in the early planning stages for the '08 event, but in addition
to the top spot payouts Horizon Hobby will be offering a mid-pack fly-off
for Big $'s (amount TBD).

So get ready because this will be bigger then the '06 event.

DVDe's,
JD

JoJo,
My friend, you know We always look forward to flying with you. But, before
you commit for the Nationals, Why not consider waiting until September for
the Masters Tournament. Then if you have time to take the long way home,
come hang out at my place in Southern California. Merry Christmas to you and
Fred, Hilsen Larry

Wow stop the press. What way is Norway again? West-downunder or ontop? If I
go straight line it might happen in 8 hours I think...
This year the schedule is perfect for me since it is not at WC time...
And finally I am on the same frequencies

Again this Nat's thing is being held in the MID-WEST!!! Gosh Dernnit
I ain't gonna fly it until it's on the west coast. You know some of the
best flyers are on the west coast so it really isn't a true National
Championship unless it's on the west coast.

Wait.. I live 3 hrs from the Nat's...

Please disregard my previous statement.
