better yet. you could run two standard winches with handsfree retrievers. you could put two new guys on the course as soon as other two finished. how fun would this be after a day of flying at the Nats. or Soar Masters. you could throw a quarter in a can for each run you take, come up with some way to bracket and score, and winner gets the can of $. I think a cool MOM speed task would be, have two guys launch at the same time to the horn, one on the left course, the other on the right course. run the standard f3b 4 legs, and first one crosses the line wins, just like drag racing. you could do 6 legs with f3j planes to keep the speeds down. [RCSE] Soaring Masters 2008
All, Since LJ brought it up please mark your calendar for Sept 18-21, 2008 for the 2nd World Soaring Masters. It is on the official IAC calendar. http://www.modelaircraft.org/events/nats/Calendar/wc092008.htm Setup/practice day is the 18th and the MOM starts on Friday morning. Sunday morning wraps up the MOM with the fly-offs for the cash beginning around lunch time.
