Re: [RCSE] LSF NATS '05
The Dayton DARTS has had a Sat NOS and Sun RES AMA scantioned contest thelast two years in June and nobody comes. It turns out to be a club contest and we are not that far from you. We would like a better turn out. Got any ideas how to get you and others to attend? Re: [RCSE] LSF NATS '05
Do it again next year and I promise to be there and have two other flyers with me. I haven't been able to fly hardly at all this year, can't even make the monthly LOFT club contests. I finally got my Challenger flying again in time for the NOS Nats. Here is the URL to the Wood Crafters 05 Photo Album. Lots of happy pilots flying woodys of all sizes and shapes including beautiful aero tow scale sailplanes. http://www.skybench.com/woodcraft/2005/album.html Already planning Wood Crafters 06. Re: [RCSE] LSF NATS '05
Hey you LSF NATS lovers, I have to tell you that the prospects of a day or two devoted exclusively to RES is getting me pumped up. I think it would be a great step towards promoting higher participation in rc soaring in general and more club sponsored RES contests. RE: [RCSE] LSF NATS '05
Mark, A successful Nats can happen only with good planning and good execution. I don't know how much you contributed to the planning but I do know that you had a lot to do with the execution. Without the concerted effort of dedicated people like you, the Nats could not have been as enjoyable as it was. Thanks for contributing both your time and effort. Regards, Bob Johnson Fond du Lac, WI Greetings All! I wanted say thanks to the great LSF gang who put together a wonderful week and made my two days as Unlimited CD smooth and simple. It's been 6 years since my last NATS and it sure was great to see old friends, make new ones and simply get back into the environment that comes about from having that many glider guiders in the same space doing the same thing. Next year I need to go back and fly too! Good Health and Good Lift! Mark Nankivil St. Louis, Missouri RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
