We have Jeff saying Friends don't let friends fly 2M and Howard heralding the death or exclusion of 2M from the Nats. Why is this? I am just curious, and have no vested interest since my primary plane is 115 Marauder RES, why we no longer have the Open class and folks want to get rid of 2M? I'm your current 2M National Champion. That's why I can say, Because 2 Meters SUCK! Only reason I fly 2M in Muncie, is because it's held in the middle of the week. Maybe I'm not normal but I kinda like 2M. Tougher to make times and flying them has improved my skills somewhat, you really need to have at least half a plan coming off launch. In anything less than good air they come down like anvils, and when they go up the little buggers disappear fast. I guess those are negatives, but it makes it fun. Because everyone has the expectation that they will max and the bigger ships make it easier.
