Hardware Renderer + Multi Camera
Hi everyone ! I'm trying to render with two camera (stereo) and the hardware renderer. I cannot use the stereo rig I cannot use the camera sequencer. So I created a group with the two camera inside. In the render pass, the Pass Camera parameter is set to the camera group In the Render Channel Output I use this : [Pass]_[Framebuffer]_[Camera] When I render with MR, No problems : All the frame are write on disk (Left and right) But when I use the Hardware renderer : Only the frame for first cam are written. The calculation is done but the files are overwritten (they keep the filename of the first cam). If someone can help me !!! Re: Exocortex Crate (the Alembic suite) goes open source.
Well that's certainly good news, we've had a few licensing issues with a certain machine which refused to pick up a read license, fudging our renders on a regular basis. With a free version that will all be history I hope... =) Has there been any updates to the suite over the last year? Re: Exocortex Crate (the Alembic suite) goes open source.
Has there been any updates to the suite over the last year? There has been a few updates and bug fixes, but nothing groundbreaking. That is one of the reasons it was hard to turn this into an ongoing revenue stream, there just wasn't much room for major features to spur upgrades/subscriptions. Re: Exocortex Crate (the Alembic suite) goes open source.
Fury works in Maya. Slipstream doesn't -- we tried a couple years ago to make a Maya port but the Maya particle system is really slow. For the same reasons the Fury port to Maya is slow as well -- or the particle systems you want to drive Fury with are hard to create. Which negatively impacts the usefulness of Fury in Maya. The real solution would be to re-create a capable particle system that runs paralle to Maya, like Krakatoa did, but that isn't of interest and a ton of work. We are focusing on Clara.io for the time being, which is evident from the contents of Exocortex blog... it is lower end that Softimage at this time though Best regards, -ben Best regards, Ben Houston (Cell: 613-762-4113, Skype: ben.exocortex, Twitter: @exocortexcom) https://Clara.io - Online 3D Modeling and Rendering On Mon, Dec 15, 2014 at 2:02 PM, Arvid Björn arvidbj...@gmail.com wrote: I see. Re: Exocortex Crate (the Alembic suite) goes open source.
Reason I'm asking is that Slipstream is really useful for certain things, but collisions and shedding hasn't worked for a long time, I get instant crashes if I enable it. It would be too bad if it was never fixed. Personally, I don't care about Maya support though. On Mon, Dec 15, 2014 at 8:11 PM, Ben Houston b...@exocortex.com wrote: Fury works in Maya.
