Because when LMS runs into the neverending SN-loop, there is no way to stop it except reinstall... (or have I missed something here?) Oh, many ways: - service logitechmediaserver stop (or whatever the standard way of your distribution) - kill the task by its ID - telnet yourserver 9090, then "stopserver" Then remove the mysb credentials from the server.prefs file and restart -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Michael We have got LastMix running but LMS is still not pulling the Spotify menu from MySB. Credentials checked and double checked. Spotify uninstalled on MySB, left for 6 hours then reinstalled. Still no joy. Will the reason show in the logs? If so which log? Unfortunately I dont have access to the LMS instance except by TeamViewer and by appointment when timezones allow so if you could give me some pointers before I start switching logging on everywhere next time I connect it would be greatly appreciated. This is the first time I have seen this problem having installed LMS and set up Spotify for other people many times before. I'm more than happy to do that. I have one issue though : if it fails again, I no longer have a return path after I had to give up on the lobotomized export/import function of Container Station (QNAP). This means that I have to reinstall LMS all the way from scratch each time it fails, including rescanning the whole library. This takes a lot of time. Do you know of any other way to make snapshot backups of containers? I just pushed a change which tries to prevent parallel login attempts even harder than before. It should be available for download in about half an hour.
