Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Album art and progress on next track slow to show after 7.9.1?
I always have https enabled on the nas, although I'm just using the default Ssl cert. What else am I supposed to do? It has nothing to do with your NAS web page, but with perl as a https client. Check with your vendor or its community about how to install that module. Also, about the slight slowness, I'm a little puzzled as to why the app would behave differently with 7.9.1 vs 7.9.0. I reached the developer and he tried it on 7.9.1 on windows and didn't notice any difference. Perhaps I just didn't notice all these years? Hm. Is it even consistent? Can you go back and forth between 7.9.1 and 7.9.0 and reproduce the delay? -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Exclude folders from scan?
Something seems to be not working. I included "ignoreDirRE: /#recycle" in the server.prefs Server.prefs also has included: " mediadirs: - /volume1/music playlistdir: /volume1/music/Playlists Exported " I think this should be working but somehow it doesn't. I have stopped and restarted LMSRepack while modifying the file (and as a matter of fact the changes are still there) BTW I wonder why LMS does not show song artists in the "artists"-node when the album artist is "various" although the files are there? dsm 6.0 (synology disk station 115) running lms 7.9 -- rpi with a hifiberry dac+ running picoreplayer (any old version?) -- nokia lumia running windows phone 8.1 and soundicity -- moto g peregrine xt1039 running cm 13 (android 6.0) -- zettaly avy running android 4.4 streifenleopard's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42019 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107387 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

. Why or who wants to have to carry a printed copy with them or have a saved PDF or Word file on a Smart Phone that has to be updated? Install Tonido on your Server and have direct up to date listing access to ALL your movies and music directly on you Smart Phone from anywhere you have an Internet Connection via WiFi or your Cellular Provider's coverage! And here is the bonus, every time you add or rip a CD or Movie to your server, it is immediately on Tonido the next time you open the App without any work on your part. I have my Smart Phone with Tonido App wherever I go, CD Warehouse, Goodwill, Church yard sale, Walmart, or any location where I can pickup additional Digital Media. *iPhone* Media Room: ModWright Platinum Signature Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Wood Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1, Vandersteen V2W Subwoofer Living Room: Transporter, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Office: Touch with Vandersteen VSM-1s Kitchen: Touch in-wall mount w/ Thiel Powerpoint 1.2s Bedroom: Squeezebox BOOM Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Around the House: SliMP3, SB1, SB2, SB3 Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107380 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Could you try to add alog to squeezelite, this way: Code: /usr/bin/squeezelite-armv6hf - o hw:CARD=sndrpihifiberry,DEV=0 -W -n name -m xx xx xx xx xx xx -s 127.0.0.1 -a 80 -d stream=info -d all=info -f /var/log/squeezelite-R2.log (change the log file pathname as you like). then restart squeezelite, play a song then open the log and look for lines like: Code: ... _check_header:143 pcm size: 3 rate: 192000 chan: 2 bigendian: 0 ... alsa_open:406 opened device hw:CARD=J20 using format: S32_LE sample rate: 44100 mmap: 0 ... What is this https module you're talking about? An LMS thing or an NAS thing? Consider it a "NAS thing". It's a module which usually can be installed on the operating system level. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Album art and progress on next track slow to show after 7.9.1?
Good question. I just tried the various UI that I have access to. Problem seems mostly with Squeeze Ctrl on Android. Web UI seems better. Squeezeplay on Windows also seems fine. Maybe it's more of an issue with Squeeze Ctrl. Don't know how this app handles the updates. But if it's polling the server, rather than subscribing, then there will always be a certain delay. Worst case the maximum polling interval. Don't know if it's in any way related, but SSOTS server log has this: Async::HTTP: Unable to load IO::Socket::SSL, will try connecting to SSL servers in non-SSL mode Since there is no time stamp, I don't know when that record came about. That's unrelated. But still worth trying to install that module on your system, as more and more online streams require https. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
