[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] AAC playback, squeeze server on RPi
Hello folks. I have a setup that uses squeeze server 7.9 on raspbian. Endpoints are various, but many are other RPIs. I don't seem to be able to play AAC streams, and am wondering if the server, the endpoints or both would be to blame. Don't really know where to start and would be glad of some assistance :) Cheers, Alex 4lex's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56608 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108566 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Ultralight LMS skin v0.2.0 released
Download/installation instructions in the 'main readme' (https://github.com/millerdev/lms-ultralight#installation). What's new: - Add menu with media library search. - Drag search results from menu into playlist (not on small or touch screens). - Play/enqueue multiple selected search results at once. - Limited library browsing from search results and playlist entries. - Click/touch icon to show song info for playlist or menu item. - Larger playlist icons on small screens for better touch interaction. - Album and artist names in player are now clickable links. - Sticky menu button and player controls (top control bar). - Add button to delete playlist items. - Fix cannot drag/drop before first or after last item in playlist. millerdev's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66738 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108565 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Constantly crashing server (database image malformed)

Just to give everyone an update, before doing anything drastic I decided to heed Mnyb's advice and free up some more space on my NAS. I now have over 1 TB available and haven't had any crashes for over a week of use. I'll be sure to update this thread should the crashes return but so far so good. Thanks very much, Mnyb. :) Morbeas's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53547 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108492 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Musepack files are cut wile playing
Hi everyone, I know Musepack is not very popular nowadays, yet an important part of my library is still in this format. I've been using a Slimserver for yars know, and I've always had this strange behaviour: on some mpc files, the playing goes fine, but mostly, the playing is cut (often after some seconds). It can happen to half a dozen songs in a row. Kinda frustrating. :) Is there anything that can be done about this ? I raised the issue maybe 8 or 10 years ago, to no avail (and the thread seems to have disappeared). I remember fiddling in some config file would arrange things a bit, but not totally, and it would be overwritten upon each upgrade. mll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108562 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] cannot rescan music folders
Things got worse with this version of LMS - there were hundreds of error messages about the tag info being too large; something about no mp3 frame yadda yadda yadda. Yes, I should have kept a copy of the log but I got so fed up I downloaded the latest install (might not be latest now but as of 1/11/18 it was the latest) and, guess what? No more problems. No error messages. No nothing. I had become afraid that my Linux install was corrupt or something had corrupted my music library. But, apparently not. If I can figure out how to mark this threat as solved I will. gmachine_24's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3999 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108543 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I was not aware of the '*' directory. I do have a '/share/*/Download' directory: [/share/*] # ls -la total 0 drwxr-xr-x 3 admin administrators 60 2018-01-10 07:12 ./ drwxrwxrwt 33 admin administrators 840 2018-01-10 07:12 ../ drwxr-xr-x 2 admin administrators 60 2018-01-10 11:10 Download/ Given that my '/share' volume is listed as 100% used then this has to be corrected. So again, how do I fix this? earthbased's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=334 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108292 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
