I downloaded and installed the April 29 nightly package and it seems to have sorted things out. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS nightly on Mojave
The nightly LMS on macOS Mojave doesnt seem to start up any more in the past day or so. I cant imagine theres many people running this, but I thought I would check to see if anyone else is experiencing a similar problem before I start looking through log files. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] 2nd Stream to mix into the main stream
is it possible to mix a second stream into the main stream for a player or a sync group? the use case is: playing music and a smart home center want to do a short announcement (eg door bell, spoken warning, etc.) the volume of the main stream should be lowered before and raised to the previous level after the end of the second stream olivaar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64848 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110527 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Pandora Station Limit
It looks like it is a limitation in Logitech Media Server>Advanced>Web Remote Control If I go to My apps>pandora>Your Stations it will show 1-95 and I have 140 station in my actual pandora account. I am just seeing if this is expandable to include all stations? Hmm... 95 is just such an odd number I couldn't believe there ever was a deliberate decision to cut the list there. I'll see whether I can find something. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Doing "man sox" in a linux terminal > I see fir is a sox command. So I am now up and running and testing. :) Yes is that way, but bit depth and format are not important. Very good, let me know your finding. Just two tricks: 1. Always use negative gain in rePhase and 2. Always add some negative gain in C-3PO (3 or even 6db) and automatic headroom, that way you're sure to avoid clipping. Another thing to try is to enable mix settings (balance), putting 99 or less in left or right channel volume. Not sure and don't even ask me why or how, but seems to me fir and eq effects when used together with mix are more effective. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] How does streaming actually work?
Thats interesting, again thanks for the detail Paul. I arrived here while trying to find out what happened to the tunein plug-in. Answer, there wasn't one. I read your reply to my post about the problems with the radio/browse/location Paul. It's interesting though, I really thought my old LMS had a plugin, and that I'd provided my tuneine userid/password... totally confused. --- http://markcathcart.com/about Running a ReadyNAS NVX LMS Server, currently 7.9.1; Transporter(Living Room)+Duet Controller; Squeezebox Touch(Master Bedroom), (2x)Boom(Office, Patio), Radio(Guest Bedroom), Classic(garage), Duet(basement) Also using Squeezeplay on Windows 10. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 7.9.0 > 7.9.2 daily didn't work
Just to close out this thread. I suspect this problem was caused by a lack of resources in the constrained ReadyNas OS 4. I didn't pursue this, and had to reset the ReadyNas, and re-install the software which can be done without losing the data stored on the NAS. --- http://markcathcart.com/about Running a ReadyNAS NVX LMS Server, currently 7.9.1; Transporter(Living Room)+Duet Controller; Squeezebox Touch(Master Bedroom), (2x)Boom(Office, Patio), Radio(Guest Bedroom), Classic(garage), Duet(basement) Also using Squeezeplay on Windows 10.
