I was taken to it when I clicked on Apps without being signed into mysqueezebox. Once I signed in in the server settings, it switched to showing my apps. I am having trouble reproducing because I don't see anywhere in server settings to log out of mysqueezebox. Am I missing something obvious? Hah! You actually found a small bug in how that menu is being rendered. Once I removed my username from the mysb settings I did get the menu item and was able to reproduce the issue. Turns out that page should be opened in a new window/tab. But as some regex would only match http, but not https, that failed ever since we switched to using https on mysqueezebox.com. Some collectors have multiple copies of the same > (remastered, ripped from vinyl, whatever). BINGO! I have systematically taken all files in subfolders of an album and uniquely renamed them and moved them so that they are in a single folder named with the album name. For example: Album: Wagner - RotN - Bayreuth - 1970 - Stein First two tracks (of 149 <-- lots of renaming!!): "Wagner - RotN - 01 - Rheingold - 01. Vorpsiel.flac" "Wagner - RotN - 01 - Rheingold - 02. Weia! Waga! Woge, du Welle.flac" On a Library rescan, these 149 tracks now show as a single Album item and not as previously, as a set of 12 items all with the same album name, the 149 tracks in them. What this actually is: a zip of Richard Wagner's Ring of the Nibelungen, which comprises 12 CDs. The ripping software rips each CD to a folder, with tracks in it. The LMS scanning software treats each folder as an individual album item even though the Album of each track is the same across all 12 CDs. I've done the same with another five albums (one of another Ring recording and several other Wagner operas) and on recan all now show as I expect them -- as a single Album. So, a bit of renaming work to get things as I want, but I understand now how the LMS scanning works now and I know what to do. gstalnaker's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63504 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114080 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS could not reestablish any USB connection after USB Dac is disconnected
I encounter the exact issue on a raspberry pi zero with picoreplayer and an external dac. On a pi 4 it is not a problem. But on a pi zero the usb dac "output setting" options in picoreplayer dissapear and do not reappear after dis- and reconnecting the external DAC. With the DAC detected my "output setting" options look like this Code: sysdefault default plugequal equal hw:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 plughw:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 sysdefault:CARD=Audio front:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 surround21:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 surround40:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 surround41:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 surround50:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 surround51:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 surround71:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 iec958:CARD=Audio,DEV=0 and I tried "hw:CARD=Audio,DEV=0" and "front:CARD=Audio,DEV=0" without success. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Can I configure LMS web interface to use https?
Thanks for the response, Michael. Is it on the roadmap? No. As the integrated web server is used to stream to the players, too, and as the players cannot handle https, this isn't really an option. https is importent in non trusted environments, eg. the internet. But in a LAN only application it shouldn't really matter. So... if you ask about it because you want to stream over the internet, I can only say don't do it. LMS is not built for the wild, wild net. Either use a VPN to connect to your home network. Or, if you only want to access the web UI, use a reverse proxy which does authentication and SSL for you. ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

The llnwd services URLS are changing and if users are receiving the message now 1/hours they should change their URL. Depending on Shoutcast usage in the future , BBC seem to say they may stop the Shoutcast services - this means http/MP3 will go and only HLS and DASH remain. Older internet radio/streamers do not support HLS or DASH and so may have to be replaced in the future. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114087 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

AFAICT - the URLs will change but the services will continue. So if you are hearing message once per hour - it is time to update the URL.
