Works well for my hardware players. Maybe restarting squeezelite via command line aint the proper way. Try turning it off before. Im still on 7.9.3 and radio.de doesnt work for me either. I tried it right now and some weeks before to no avail. There is a new plugin called radionet. That works and I found some german radio stations, I looked for. Both is possible. With the new 7.9 there is a simple way to hide those lossy duplicates in LMS. Then there is the Custom Browse-plugin from Erland. I had SqueezePlay and Jivelite working together on the same Mac. And you can indeed set them up differently. But I'm not sure that I didn't have no issues. I felt sometimes that the Webif showed the wrong playlist. Try it and be sure not to open both players at the same time. I'd call it success or at least progress as you could download the package. What I would try now (remember I'm absolutely not in Vortexbox, yum or RPM!), was to uninstall 7.8 and install 7.9.0 from scratch. Maybe you save your prefs first. Try 7.9 on another Computer and you'll see. I can't decide for you. But if you got your issues sorted out with another LMS I'd really consider to build your von from scratch. Or take a different approach and install piCorePlayer or Max2Play on an Raspberry. That is a known issue. Since you didn't install 7.9.0 as qpkg, the app center doesn't know, it's runningi a new version. But your LMS tells you that. So the easiest way is to ignore the Version in app center. Nevertheless there will be an update as LMS tells you. I'd love that. I get used to the Widget, langsam aber sicher. Before that I only used iPeng to comfortably search for some artist now and then and mostly to switch the alarm clock on and off. I don't know, if there are qpkg versions for QNAPs with actual architecture. I only found some for x86 and older arm. So be prepared. Get your QNAP as a NAS and a RasPi for LMS.
