The QNAP firmware update appears to have completely killed QLMS. A complete uninstall and reinstall and LMS still refuses to run. I am thinking it is time to go back to another solution such as container station or even give up on trying to run LMS on my QNAP NAS and build a Raspberry Pj server. Another QNAP firmware upgrade and the QLogicMediaServer 2.10.01 app is running but will not open into the LMS. If only there was a way to fix the issue of the app not running following a Qnap firmware update. Another QNAP firmware update and again QLogictechMediaServer (2.04.00) appeared to update and start. Although it was shown as running in the App centre, I couldn't access LMS. I have updated QLogitechMediaServer and this installed fine on my TS 251+. The app shows 2.03.10. Despite everything looking fine in the Qnap console the LMS was not running. I rebooted the NAS but still no joy. I then tried stopping and starting the package and finally it kicked back into life! I run LMS on my QNAP NAS using the Docker (container) method by Oyvindo (https://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=354=123933=LMS+docker) There is also a QNAP App package which is being developed by Freaksat (https://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=123=139286) and initially this worked fine for me. I am successfully running LMS on a Qnap NAS in a container. The Qnap is a lovely server that suits my needs and works well in conjunction with my Touch. All music is in Flac format and backed up to the cloud using Qnap backup utility.
