Redrum is correct, ShoutCast is free, just need a free login via MySB.com. I believe no hosted stations have art work. But on the plus side you can use the included bitrate limiter (thank you Michael Herger) so that all ShoutCast station searches and menu selections only offer stations of a minimum bit rate or better. Try just the Touch playing (un-sync all), see if problem persists. Maybe some (or all) files require transcoding and the NAS can't keep up? NAS losing network connection? Try this. stop and keep pff LMS, reboot Touch (unplug), see if Touch will now allow connection to MySB.com. I remember something long ago about an issue where SB players could not connect to MySB.com if players were on LMS but LMS could not see MySB.com. LMS is not the problem. The problem is either TuneIn or (most likely) the station itself. My bet is the station has requested TuneIn to restrict access to only web browser access so it can display it's ad content. You can contact both TuneIn and the station and ask them. Might be a mistake by TuneIn, but unlikely. SB3 can only connect to the 2.4 G network, it cannot see 5.0 N networks. Try temporarily connecting BOTH laptop and SB3 to only the 2.4 G WiFi. Might even try disabling 5.0 N all together just to confirm both are only on G WiFi. It sure sounds like your router is preventing or isolating G devices from seeing the main network (N or wired). Age of the router should not matter. I use a nine year old stock Linksys basic router, only a/b/g capable. I stream full WAV's to four SqueezeBox players all over WiFi without a hicup. Contact TuneIn.com, they handle the feeds in the Internet Radio menus including "local". Local is determined by GeoIP of your actual IP address. If WiFi is the problem (which is odd based on the proximity and environment of the Receiver) you may have to try a Powerline Adapter. Shouldn't have to enter any IP, it should just be present (when working properly). This is why I *never* update my OS until absolutely required. Even then, I'm two versions behind (Win7). I don't have an SB1 but I'd guess it's menus and much of it's functionality are similar to the SB3. If you have a JVC_DVD player (or universal remote with JVC_DVD) you can emulate the IR remote of the SB3 (assuming SB1 as well). If yes... hit the LEFT arrow to enter player Setup menus, scroll completely through the menu selections back to first item, now scroll to look for your server name/IP. ALL SB players always go looking for the same server it was last connected to. If it cannot be found the older players can sometimes get confused and do some strange things. Also it can take a few seconds for the players to discover new LMS servers on the network, or even a changed IP of the same server. The FLAC info is incorrect, always has been. Just ignore it. It's still lossless. Transporter isn't capable of 24/96. Make sure the entire LMS program is running as Admin, not just Control Panel. Start > All Programs > LMS folder > LMS, right click & select Run as Admin. If that isn't the answer you may have had a Firewall or Anti-virus update that is now blocking LMS.
