SB3 can only connect to the 2.4 G network, it cannot see 5.0 N networks. Try temporarily connecting BOTH laptop and SB3 to only the 2.4 G WiFi. Might even try disabling 5.0 N all together just to confirm both are only on G WiFi. It sure sounds like your router is preventing or isolating G devices from seeing the main network (N or wired).
