Wow, thanks again for pointing this out. At first I was going to say no way, but then one small typo on a port forward range (missing a zero) and I had a massively large range of ports open. Also, I restored server.prefs from a backup 1 month ago and all is well now again. Thanks again everyone for the quick replies, this forum ROCKS! I will sign on with the /default switch, but it is still prompting for a username / password. Is there any way to reset / remove the U/P without starting with a fresh server.prefs file, so that I don't completely lose my config? Thanks for the reply and I verified that port 9000 is not being forwarded, but I was wondering if they could mess with my LMS config or Squeezeboxes by hacking mysqueezebox.com account? I'm pretty sure that I remember you can manage alarms from there, can you also set LMS password? I'll keep digging, but thanks for your help. First: turn off port forwarding on your router. Second: shut down LMS, move the server.prefs to another place, start again. And don't open the port forwarding again. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS Changed Language Over NIght
My LMS 9.0 server has been running flawless for months. We use our Boom as an alarm clock on weekdays, but not on the weekends. However, this morning the Boom woke us up at 5:45am which was strange. I tried to use iPeng to see what happened, but I couldn't as I was prompted for a username and password to access LMS (and I have never set one). Next, I went to my Windows 10 Pro box which acts as a media server for my house and was again prompted for a username and password to access the LMS Control Panel. What makes this even more fun is that the password prompt box, and now my Boom's, language is set to some Scandinavian appearing language (screenshot attached). Has anybody else experienced anything like this and what do I need to do in order to clear the username/password prompt and set the default language back to English??? 22155 Thanks in advance for your help!
