I truly wish webdevelopers had been more eager to support Edge than IE.
Edge has much better support of webstandards than IE. And it is also
good to have three major competing browser engines (from Firefox, Chrome
and Edge). But Edge has never had many users, and Microsoft has given up
making their own engine now. They are preparing a new MS Edge version
build on Chrome technology (Chromium engine). You can try it already
now, the "Dev Channel" seems to work very well and stable:

With the imminent demise of Windows 7 I am making the painful transfer to Windows 10 on my various machines. The LMS web interface worked fantastically well on Internet Explorer but fails with Edge.
